Crystal Littlejohn and her staff were wonderful to work with! My mother was facing issues with her insurance company regarding a long term care policy for my dad's assisted living facility. We were at a point where we didn't know what to do and no one was taking our calls or getting us to the right people who could help. We got connected with Crystal and she went to bat for us! She made calls, and emails, explaining the situation to people who could help us. She took on this issue like my dad was part of her family. It took a couple of months but Crystal, with her calm and professional manner was able to help us get the result that we needed from the insurance company. We definitely would not have been able to get to that point without Crystal and her amazing staff!

I have worked with Geriatric Resources and their team for a number of years now any they have provided care management for quite a few of our clients. I have the utmost confidence in their care abilities and I know our clients are well cared for. They have excellent staff and very responsive to their client's needs emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We engaged the services of Geriatric Resources in the fall of 2018, when our mother had to be moved to memory care due to Alzheimer’s/dementia. We all live in other states, so having Luann available to check on her and take her to appointments has been very helpful and important. This has provided much peace of mind, particularly since the Covid virus shut things down. I have employed the wonderful services of Geriatric Resources since June 2015, when my mother had to be moved to a memory care facility due to her diagnosis of Alzheimers. I live in another state, so having extra "eyes and ears" available to check on her, take her out, etc., has been invaluable and has given me total peace of mind for over 5 years now. We lost our loved one this summer. We lived over 2,000 miles away from her home. When we found out a year or so before that she had a terminal illness with dementia, we quickly went to her and began setting resources up to help us help her manage daily life and functions from our distance as long as possible. Our loved one had met Crystal Littlejohn and later her staff from Geriatric Resources LLC while walking her dogs in the business neighborhood! This was a blessing, as we discovered Crystal and her team would be close and available to help her with literally anything and everything. Our loved one’s greatest desire was to stay in her home until the end, and we believed with Geriatric Resources on call we’d be able to make that happen for her.Crystal and her team hung in there with her, even though the dementia made her recalcitrant at times and difficult to help. During her last illness, Geriatric Resources walked with us on many different paths as our loved one transitioned and passed. After, they were always there to help us with both hearts and hands to manage the logistics. During this extremely sad and busy time, it’s hard to find quiet to grieve, but having Crystal and Luann and all of the rest of the staff who worked tirelessly to manage each component, we had time to reflect.We would recommend Crystal Littlejohn’s Geriatric Resources LLC as the care management service of choice for anyone in our situation as distant caregivers. But because the management of serious illness or aging difficulties for a loved one is hard for any one person to handle, no matter the geographic circumstance, Geriatric Resources makes it tolerable and lightens the load considerably.
