I see Dr. Barakat in Payson, AZ. I would like him to know how much we appreciate the fact that he cares enough about our vision that he comes to us, saving us the travel time. My sisters and I get injections for AMD. Being able to just go directly home and put cold compression on our eyes greatly reduces our discomfort. He is always friendly, ready to answer our questions and address our concerns. He is also always trying to find treatments that might be better for each of us. Thank you for all your efforts on our behalf.

I started to see Dr. Barakat for blurry vision in my right eye. I have been under his care for 2 years now. He is always very friendly and takes time to answer all my questions. He is always happy and his singing makes me smile and feel at ease. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr Barakat is a highly skilled retina ophthalmologist. He has been treating me for a hole in my retina. He is detailed in his explanations , yet presents the information so a lay person can understand. I really appreciate how he includes his patients in the treatment decision making, yet gives his recommendations for achieving the best possible outcome. His high level of energy is engaging, but he's all business in the operating room. I would highly recommend Dr Barakat. I’m glad he’s part of my medical team! Thank you Dr B!

I think that Dr. Barakat is the best. Always smiling or singing. He really puts you at ease.He explains everything and includes you in making decisions. I'm so glad that I found him.

Dr. Barakat is an excellent surgeon. He successfully repaired a horseshoe tear of my retina. He is wonderful with patients as he takes the time to thoroughly listen and explain treatment options and methods. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs retinal surgery.

I have been to 4 different eye doctors in 3 different states, regarding my macular degeneration. Without hesitation, I can attest that Dr. Mark Barakat is the best. His technique of giving the shots in the eyes is painless. He is the best!
