Stop flipping your hair and laughing at me. I know I am older than you but I demand respect.
When I first scheduled an appointment with Dr Amin, I didn't realize how highly-regarded she is by the staff at AARA. I've heard numerous times about her being among "the best" and highly in demand. To the shock of the scheduler, I was able to get an appointment the following week only due to a cancellation. Despite her full schedule, she is always very prompt and thorough. Usually no time for small talk, which is fine with me, I imagine efficiency is the key to her full schedule. When submitting a question through the portal, I get a quick response from her or her PA or nurse.
She didn’t spend time to give me medicine to help my diagnosis
I have had excellent care with Dr Am in. Her PA Jennifer is fantastic!
I had some illnesses in July and was diagnosed with SLE and connective tissue disease. I was extremely nervous and unsure about my appointment with this doctor(specialist). She sent a student in to poke and prod me as well as ask me several questions that I didn’t have the exact dates for of my symptoms he made me feel like I was taking a test. 20 minutes later the doctor comes in to finally introduce herself to me and brings the student back and another person I guess her assistant whom I’m not sure what her name was, and starts asking me more questions. In the meantime I’m sitting in this exam room with 3 strangers feeling very nervous and unsure of the dates of my previous test as well as wondering why my records hadn’t been reviewed. The whole visit was costly and I’m left not knowing anything about SLE with connective disorder. She was not very attentive, not friendly, not informative and made me feel worse than I already do. I didn’t have my eyeglasses with me and couldn’t get the pass word to my virtual chart to show her the dates of my previous test and illnesses so I’m kind of worried that I’m not going to receive the proper care for this disease. She was very dismissive and had a sort of rudeness about her. I felt so sad after I paid the bill and left her office. Worse doctor I’ve ever had.
I have always had great experiences with DR Amin. The person who made comments about Hispanics has a problem.

Dr Amin has cared for me for many years. She has seen me thru some rough times. she is always on top of the many problems I have, what to try next and what I can't use. It's important for her to know what s not safe for me to use, I have a rare disease and she's on top of it She's a blessing
I am a new patient and had been waiting to get in to a rheumatologist for some time. I had a great experience here so far! Mostly, my appointment was with her NP Jennifer and she was great. Jennifer took a lot of time to talk about my symptoms and examine me. She also was clear when she spoke about next steps etc. Dr Amin came in and introduced herself also and spoke to me about what the next steps were as well. Both were great, made me feel at ease, and cared for. Thank you!
She is very compassionate and listens to your ailment and makes your pain a lot better . Thank Dr. Amin

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
