Outstanding surgeon! Accolades to Dr. Singh and his wonderful staff. 6 months post cataract surgery and my vision is the best it's been since I was a teenager: 20/20! No more glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Singh caring, comprehensive approach to eye care distinguishes him. He's incredibly meticulous. I travel from Scottsdale to see him every six months- well worth the trip. Also, he performed a dry eye procedure about 3 years ago and it's still working. No more dry eyes. Thank you, Dr. Singh, for the gift of clear vision.

This doctor spoke to me in a very condescending way. He lost patience very quickly when I didn't move my head in the direction he wanted right away. I was in pain and he forced my eye open in a very rough way. If you send your elderly parents there, he most likely be rude and mean to them. My cornea was scratched, but I didn't feel confident in my treatment, as he did not perform an extensive eye wash incase any small particles remained in my eye. Though I can not speak for his surgical skills.
What a breath of fresh air! Dr. Singh is compassionate and kind. After doing a complete eye exam, he took the time to explain what was happening with my eyes suggesting treatments and surgery for both eyes and taking the time to explain the processes. It was a lot to take in all at once. Dr. Singh and his staff are fantastic and kind and graciously answered more of my questions when I would call. To say I was apprehensive about the surgery.... that all went away at the first surgery when Dr. Singh made me feel at ease. I had the surgery on my other eye the following week. I am so very glad I made the decision to see Dr. Singh and follow his recommendations. The outcome of my surgery is super and I am so very pleased. I haven't seen this clearly in years. A super experience. I highly recommend Dr. Singh.
Dr. Singh was very pleasant and professional I had cataract surgery on both of my eyes and am very happy with his work . His staff is very friendly would definitely recommend him to anyone.
My husband recently had cataract surgery, both eyes, at Southwest Eye Surgeons. He wore glass almost all of his life and now he has 20/20 vision. His experiences with office staff was very cordial, efficient, and kind. The surgery and post op was exactly as explained to him by Dr. Singh. We would recommend Dr. Singh for your eye care and eye surgery. I am next for cataract surgery and Dr. Singh will be my surgeon.
Yesterday April 21, 2021 this Dr. performed cataract surgery on me. I can't speak to his surgical skill because it is too fresh of a surgery to know. I will go to the 2 additional follow up appointments and NEVER go back to him. I don't know where to start here.. I knew I had a cataract because my vision had gotten so bad especially in my right eye I was pretty blind. I have been using readers for a long time and they weren't helping at all but with covid I didn't see any of my doctors in 2020 so after getting the vaccines I felt OK to go have it checked out to see what was going on. I told him also that the opposite eye felt like there was sand in it at times. He dilated me and examined my eyes. The result was that I have a condition dry eye and cataracts. My daughter sat right there when he said my bad eye was a #5 and the other was a #3. Being very hard of hearing I told him and his staff pp right up front that they really need to face me and talk LOUD.,... I had to keep saying this over & over again with everyone I dealt with. HE IS VERY COLD, SEEMS ANNOYED WITH A PATIENT LIKE ME WHO WANTS EVERY DETAIL. He rushes you through and doesn't seem to like to explain things. I asked him to be specific about what happens from the time I enter the surgicenter, about anesthesia etc and told him I am very claustrophobic and thoughts of wearing a mask with a drape over my face/ body was freaking me out since they don't knock you out and didn't know if I could do this surgery while needing it badly and he did ZERO to comfort my terror or explain things no matter how much I pushed, that was a big deal to me. He has ZERO bedside manner or ability or care to communicate things. He told me my choices of lenses in an escalating scale and didn't take time to explain each, but all of them other than what medicare pays for are THOUSANDS of dollars which I don't have. He was in and out of the room like lightening and I was ushered to the front desk. NOBODY in there smiles or is friendly AT ALL! I didn't even know that they remove your lens and put in a different one until I pressed him at the pre-op appointment! So at the desk they wanted $40.00 which I still don't know what that is really for since every dr I see just bill medicare and my supplement plans....so I thought I would use my CareCredit card since they take that, the woman said that sometimes care credit adds some additional fees (which turned out to be a big fat LIE as I found later) I gave her my card anyhow, she does something at the reader and gives it back saying it was declined...I said not possible, it is good and has zero balance, they didn't take it and I paid a different way. Then she hands me papers with the dates and locations of pre op and surgery appointments etc. When I got home I called care credit and they said the card is valid and they said that receptionist should have called them right then, also said they never add other fees! I felt very unsettled with this place but badly needed this surgery. Next appointment was the pre-op one.., upon check in she hands me a packet of papers to fill out and I told her I CAN'T SEE ANY OF THAT and she shamed me in front of a FULL waiting room (no distancing for Covid) with comment about why didn't I bring someone with me etc and was annoyed that she would have to get someone to help me do that-turns out it wis the same packet my daughter already filled out for me at appointment #1! So this girl I will call blond girl since I don't know her name....and then Dr. takes more pictures etc and he's gone.... I said to her are we done here, I couldn't tell!!. She said he will meet me at the front, which he never did, never saw him again. Then she was writing to give me prescriptions for eye drops to be used pre & post op.... she was looking at a file and said "you are allergic to cipro right" and I said NO, I never told you that! I have no idea whose chart she was looking at!! She went over this paper about the 3 prescription drops to put in many times for 3 days before the surgery and it said if I can't afford them to contact her for different ones, but they called em in to my drug store anyhow. I was supposed to start using them Sunday, Mon and Tues and this was end of day on Weds. As soon as I got home CVS called and they were ready for pickup, I inquired re the price and one of them was between $ 200-300 so I laughed and told them to contact the Dr. to see what we need to do, and I waited...hadn't heard back from them yet on Fri because they hadn't heard from the doctor so I called the Dr office, they connect me with some girl who told me they never got any call from CVS, another lie. If you are a person who wants detailed information and a caring doctor, this IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!I could go on and on and on about how INCOMPETENT AND UNFRIENDLY THIS OFFICE IS AND HOW COLD AND UNCARING THIS DOCTOR IS. I WOULD NEVER, EVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OF THIS DOCTOR....HORRID!!
All of the people working in Dr. Singhs office are very helpful and kind. Had cataract surgery, everything went extremely well. I would recommend Dr. Singh to all of my friends and family.
I am 59 and have been seeing eye doctor's since I was in the 7th grade.... Dr Singh is the most amazing eye Doctor I've ever been to.....he is empathetic, kind and very knowledgeable, anyone can trust him with their eye care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
