She takes her time with you and you have her full attention. I took my daughter with me (She is RN ,M, PHD) because she asked if she could go to hear what my kidney progress was, and Dr. Buxton spent AT LEAST 1/2 hr. talking to her, after she finished my exam!

I love this doctor. I feel so fortunate to have found her. She always makes me feel that I matter and my health is important to her. She is very efficient but I never feel rushed. She gives me accurate information and never talks down to me. She will explain in depth if I ask. I trust her judgment and feel that my condition is being monitored well to maximize my health, longevity, and well-being. She has a sense of humor and I feel I am a real person with her. I know I am in good hands and can relax about my CKD knowing Dr. Buxton is looking out for me.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Buxton since we moved to Arizona. She has been attentive and always answered any questions we had regarding my husband’s condition. She has been proactive in his treatment so that his kidney disease remained in check. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Buxton has been my doctor for several years. She is compassionate, supportive and knowledgeable. As my kidney disease progressed she explained my options, one of which was a kidney transplant. She referred me to Mayo Hospital and I started the long process of getting approved & locating a donor. After being on dialysis for over a year I received the "miracle" phone call. I had my transplant in December and am back to having Dr. Buxton as my primary nephrologist. Thank you Dr. Buxton!
