Abrazo Scottsdale Campus's Online Review Report Card

Update: still 1 star. After paying 65% of ridiculous bill, I got offer of getting discount to pay my remaining bill in full. Paid bill with representative and would get confirmation mail of paying bill. Few days later get personal text saying I was late paying my bill. Thought nothing of it until I got a letter a week later saying I owe money and if not completed would go to collection agency. Called Abrazos and said they messed up in processing and will get correctly processed. Will get confirmation in mail in a few days. I then wanted a confirmation Email saying my bill is closed and representative said that’s not possible… I asked to speak to manager (Rep named manager Julie) after 30 minutes of waiting on hold, I informed rep I want a call back. Which rep said would be contacted by EOB today…. Which has been missed. Just want to be done with Abrazo.Original: I am still receiving bills for my visit at Abrazos. Staff was good, but 3+ bills adding up to 28K, with insurance 3K! Are you kidding me! Never going back there.

had a good experience there . staff was very nice and professional but wish there was more communication. they brought me back to a room waiting for my covid test results. the doctor came in and said they had not gotten any results yet but he will check back with me. 30 min later no doctor but the discharge nurse came back with my discharge paperwork and a rx for meds. so i asked does that mean i tested positive for covid? she said oh they never told you and i said no and she said so yes you did test positive for covid. other wise it was a clean waiting room and it was a pretty relaxed experience for an er visit and the nurses and staff seemed to know what they were doing

I HAVE TO SAY THIS HOSPITAL DOESNT ATTEND TO EMERGENCY ROOM PATIENTS WELL AT ALL. THEY DIDNT PUT ME IN A HOSPITAL GOWN, I WAS FREEZING AND COUGHING SO BAD I WAS PEEING ON MYSELF, BECAUSE I HAD PNEUMONIA, ALONG WITH PRE- EXISTING CONDITIONS SUCH AS CONGENITAL HEART FAILURE AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND COULDNT GET ANY NURSES ATTENTION TO AT LEAST GIVE ME A BLANKET AND A TOWEL TO CLEAN MYSELF UP, SO I HAD TO GET UP SOKEN WET AND SHIVERING TO WALK TO ASK FOR A BLANKET AND WHERE THE BATHROOM WAS, IN THE END I HAVE TO GIVE THANKS TO ONLY 2 NURSES THAT WERE VERY VERY NICE TO ME AND HELPED ME WITH THE SITUATION AND WERE VERY CARING AND THAT IS A NURSE NAMED “CARA”, AND “KIRSTEN” I HOPE I SPELLED THERE NAMES CORRECTLY, THEY ARE VERY GOOD NURSES, I JUST WANT TO THANK THEM 2 NURSES AND ASK GOD TO BLESS THEM AND THERE FAMILYS.

This place was dirty and outdated.  They need to take the money they are giving to admins and doctors and update this dump.  I went in for panic attack induced from a dietary supplement and a cup of coffee. Paid $300 at the emergency room and was later billed for a total $11,477.     $2540 for lab services,  $1064 for EKG services,  $589 for Diagnostic/Therapeutic Imaging,  and $7284 for Emergency room. Abrazo is now calling me for a balance of $1114 unpaid from insurance As an ex pharma rep, this is exactly why I left this industry.  What a scam.  I will take every opportunity to tell folks to not use this institution in the future.

My dad was admitted two weeks ago with a symptomatic covid. Now he has pneumonia, MRSA and now he has been unresponsive all day. Not a single phone call from anyone at the hospital. It’s criminal what they’ve done to him.

My husband went in with a finger cut that needed stitches, the doctor stitch it up so poorly that as soon as we got home, it continued to bleed! 1 stitch already came out and it's been 10 hours. He obviously has to go back to have you fix the poor job you did, you expect us and our insurance to pay for this, this is hysterical!!

Thank you to the OR staff, Dr Fang, the ER staff and the Fourth floor @Abrazo Scottsdale Campus for the amazing and seamless surgery and stay during my recovery. I can now work to getting back on the fire truck and doing what I love. I felt safe and well cared for with your amazing attention to detail.

I had my appendix removed here back in 2018 I am glad everthing went fine but damm I was waiting for almost an hour with serious pain in my stomach & worst off all had to spend the night which cost me alot plus xrays & drugs all together was nearly 2k.

The worst hospital hands down I came to the hospital at 7 am to get checked out and didn't leave to almost 2 and the afternoon this is sad. On top of all that they could even tell me what's wrong.
