Sorry, mus5 i must agree with the last review as to how the Dr. see you if you ar3 lucky for a minute and then he calls on his staff to clear out that room for the next patient. The staff is not any more efficient and professional the appointment staff is even less helful.

While undergoing Chemo was diagnosed with Afib. Banner's doctor strung me around for months (over a year ago) and i still have not received the forthcoming referral they were supposedly handling even after numerous phone calls from me. Found out about Dr Astari coming to Ajo and immediately got an appointment with him. Tests taken, referral processed and today he confirmed Afib is gone! Everyone was great! Couldn't ask for better care or better people.

Can I give 0 stars? If you want to be taken seriously please don’t go here. Askari basically ran away from me after making me wait over 30 minutes for him to come in the room so I had to ask my personal, private questions in front of staff and patients. I explained I was in pain and he just said “come back in 5 months.” This place is a joke. Younger girl who checked me out was so rude to her co workers and an absolute mess. I left this place in tears. Place was unorganized, not a single soul was thorough in examining me and it was literally DIRTY in every room I went in. Now they won’t answer my calls and I don’t exist in the patient portal so I can’t retrieve any of my records! :) went to get a second opinion and they couldn’t fathom why they did what they did. In much better hands now. I hope this practice gets shut down.

He is a wonderful Doctor. He is very patient and treats me and my husband with the upmost regard. We really enjoy our visits with him. He really knows what he is doing. He doesn’t rush us at all. We would highly recommend him.

I had already heard about dr. Askari how caring and considerate physician he is and i am very glad that i had an appointment with him,the bottom line is this ,if you want to see a good and knowledgeable heart doctor do not wait go and see him!

Dr. Askari is an amazing doctor. Saw him today. He also did open heart surgery on my husband and was amazing through all of the care.

I am a Registered nurse in the state of Arizona I have worked with doctor Askari throughout my career. My colleagues and I all admired Dr. Askari for the care he provides to his patients. So when I discovered I needed a cardiologist for myself obviously I chose him as have many other nurses he is good at what he does. And the staff is top of the line.
