He seems knowledgeable and takes time to listen to what is wrong with me.

I started seeing Dr. Hernandez soon after I moved to Phoenix, 'only' because he was near my apt. It wasn't long before I realized if you have a complex medical history he is not the doctor for you!  I have no idea why I stayed so long other than he was close. Once he came into the exam room and told me he could hear me wheezing from across the hall but of course he did NOT address my loud wheezing. When I left his office I immediately went down to the 3rd. floor to my pulmonologist office. After seeing a intake nurse my pulmonologist saw me immediately (I refused going to the hospital since I have 20 yr. old cat & didn't know anyone I'd trust taking care of him yet)! My last, last straw came last year when I had FINALLY found a interventional radiologist who has the expertise and experience to remove a 10 year dwell time IVC filter and I requested a referral to see this doctor.  Dr. Hernandez refused even after I showed him the emails between this Dr. and me. Believe it or not, Dr. Hernandez thought the emails were from a scammer even though the emails came from Banner Anderson hospital. I even showed Dr. Hernandez the email after this Dr. had pulled my IVC filter scan and said my IVC filter legs was embedded in my IVC!!! I came out so upset/near tears one of his office staff came over and asked the problem. Once I explained she offered to go talk to him. Praise God, she came back with the referral I requested. Since this was potentially a very dangerous situation in a week/after getting my ins. approval I was in surgery getting my embedded IVC filter removed @ Banner Anderson hospital by the Dr. who Dr. Hernandez 'claimed' was a scammer! Need I say after that I found another PCP! Let me end by saying, if you do not have a serious or complex medical history by all means Dr. Hernandez maybe a good Dr. for you.

Just about any problem I have had I was sent to another doctor. Reports from other doctors are not put in your chart (are kept on line). Office staff leaves a lot to be desired compared to 50+ years of every other doctor's office staff. One even lied to hospital billing dept. when she said she called & left me a message '2 days' before my testing...but I still had & forwarded the message she left me where she said several times "do not go to your test today we did not get approval from your ins." for the hospital billing dept. The billing dept. called me back and said she was sorry and I will no longer be billed for the test.

I was so impress with the courtesy all his staff had for me....that I like a lot as a boss he was great to have a wonderful staff and as a Doctor he greet me with a courteous and well manner , they take good care of you I didn't have to make any appointments staff took care of all that for me. I'm very please with Dr. Hernandez and Staff! 5 stars Office!

Dr Hernandez is amazing, I went to get a second opinion because I did not believe my regular Dr that my back was fine, I was still having pain, Dr Hernandez showed me why I was having back pain with the same X-ray papers that my other Dr had, Dr Hernandez quickly referred me to a chiropractor and told me he was going to talk to him and tell him to call me. Within the hour from leaving the office the chiropractor called me and set me up with an appointment ASAP. I am very impressed with Dr Hernandez and how he took care of me and made me feel very happy. Drs like this are hard to come by, Thank you Anna Maria from Dr Warren H Heller's office (the ophthalmologist) for referring me over. Dr Andres Hernandez is truly AMAZING, Erica  and Patricia accommodated my appointment Thank you girls .

I have been a patient of Dr Hernandez for nearly 25 years and he has taken great care of me. I enjoy going to seeing him and his great office staff. The waiting is short and if I need any referrals they are done promptly. I would recommend Dr Hernandez for anyone looking for internal medicine.

FIRST OF ALL...DR HERNANDEZ IS NOW IN SUITE 500...DR. HERNANDEZ IS A VERY KIND DOCTOR AND HE IS VERY GOOD WITH DIABETICS. HE AND HIS STAFF IS WAY BEYOND KIND AND VERY PLEASANT TO BE AROUND. VERY HELPFUL. EVERYONE THEY COME IN CONTACT WITH IS TREATED WITH RESPECT. HE IS VERY RESPECTFUL OF THE SPANISH COMMUNITY AND ALL HIS PATIENTS HE COMES IN CONTACT WITH..I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

Dr.Hernandez is very courteous and knowledgeable. I will continue my care with him.
