Dr Kovacik has been my eye doc since 2016. She is both a Neurologist and an Ophthalmologist. She has excellent credentials and excels in practice. She takes the time to explain issues to patients. I'm very pleased with her as my eye doc.

Dr. Kovacik has been an incredibly attentive, thorough, and informative guide for me , having come to her with severe damage and vision loss from glaucoma, with concerns that its been hastened along by other systemic disease processes. She initiated contact with my primary care provider and has made herself readily accessible to my other specialists. I'm so grateful to have landed with her office. Everyone there has been responsive and professional and kind, thank you.

Very unhappy with the care I received from Dr. Herro for an optic nerve stroke. She was not current with the latest studies and put me on a unproven treatment which disqualified me from a promising study medicine to treat my optic nerve swelling. I consequently lost vision in my affected eye. She was too busy preparing for her wedding to give me the time and attention that I needed for my urgent situation. It didn't feel like she took it very seriously - the gravity of my situation.

I went to Dr; Herro after seeing another ophthalmologist in Mesa that I was no happy with. I am so glad I did! She was so thorough in my examination and spent at least 15-20 minutes with me explaining everything. She is amazing!

Dr. Herro was wonderful! She spent a considerable amount of time with us. She is compassionate and gave us her undivided attention. My husband is the patient and although he did not always understand what she was saying, she focused on and spoke with him as if he did! Very humane!
