can't book a return 6 month appt for 9 months and can't get them to call with the results of a biopsy that needs treatment with repeated calls to them. Also after reading the visit summary most of it wasn't true. I think they just have a standard form they use on everyone and they certainly don't listen.

In my life I have had the good fortune of obtaining treatment from some excellent and caring Physicians in various parts of the United States. Dr. Koochek is the only one that I would/will never return to see. His Medical skills may be adequate but his personal ability to communicate or relate to a patient is non existent. When I commented to him on my second visit about the long healing time and the continued discomfort from a lesion he scraped from my back he replied "Listen Bud, there are a lot of Dermatologists out there. Why don't you check them out". I was astounded that a Licensed Medical Doctor could be that rude and, in my view, totally unprofessional. First issue, my name was on the folder at his finger tips just in case he did not want to take the time to see who he was treating. My name is not "Bud" nor am I ever likely to be his Buddy. Second issue, he took absolutely no interest in my having discomfort from his treatment. His visits are so short and quick there is no focus on establishing any relationship with a patient. It is very apparent he is most interested in maximizing his appointment billings each day to provide for his financial future. After reading his reviews I see that he has had other similar encounters with patients. Perhaps his personality would make him more effective as a research Doctor where he could focus on Lab work and not be required to interact with people. A very disappointing encounter that will certainly encourage me to seek treatment outside the Banner Medical Team.

The most UNprofessional so called doctor ever. Don't ask him any questions or insinuate he doesn't spend enough time with his patience because he will throw a tantrum and accuse you of threatening him. He did however storm out of the room like a child and said he was going to get his manager.he was going to go get his

Both my husband and I have had skin cancer. This does not seem to concern him, nor does he take the time to address new concerns. Why wait months to see him for only a five minute exam?

Friendly and takes the time to explain things. He is great at what he does!

I wish there were an even higher rating to describe how positive my experience as a patient to Dr. Koochek has been. He has the perfect combination of professionalism, expertise, and sincere caring about his patients. I have needed his help on several occasions and it has been gratifying to have problems solved from the very start. He is thorough and proactive, listens attentively, offers his recommendations as he discusses treatment options, and then gets the job done flawlessly. He does all of this while showing a genuine regard for how things are going in my life. I have not encountered another doctor who brings such wonderful attributes to each office visit. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Koochek as my doctor.

I struggled with cystic acne for several years before visiting Dr. Koochek. After trying antibiotics for a couple months with no success, I was placed on Accutane. Accutane not only cleared my entire face, but it gave me a level of confidence that I did not know I had! Dr. Koochek is a fantastic doctor and a very friendly and genuine person. I would recommend him to anyone dealing with acne issues.

Before I went to Dr. Koochek, I checked out his educational background and credentials. They are among the best I have ever seen. When I had my first visit with him, he did what a dermatologist is suppose to do. He carefully examined my skin from head to toe. He rendered the proper diagnosis and then gave me options for treatment with explanations of pros and cons for each. He proceeded with the treatment option I chose and then gave me proper verbal and written follow-up instructions. He has an engaging personality and was very cordial and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Koochek as a very competent and amicable physician.

I would first like the say how wonderful the staff is. Having said that, I am very thankful to have Dr Koochek as my dermatologist. His bedside manner is fabulous and an excellent physician!!!!

Dr. Arash is a fantastic doctor! I went to him for a severe case of eczema, Which I couldn't stop scratching and then got infected. He prescribed the appropriate medication ( unlike the previous Dr I saw) and gave clear direction on how to use. Within a very short period of time the infected areas were healed up. He is also very personable and listens very well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dermatologist.
