Arizona Eye Specialists's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Kayinda has great surgery reviews so I went to 3rd&Osborn. First I had to see Dr.Rodin, an optometrist for evaluation, even though I had my file from a previous optometrist. Then an appt. to see Surgeon Kayinda for a surgery eval. Then testing for insurance will requirements. Finally I was told if I didn't receive a call in 3 weeks to call them. I called and was told it's a busy time for insurance appeals, call if I receive a judgement in the mail. I called several times, left messages and spoke to a human once who said she was calling the verification team to find out the hold up. I finally called my insurance company: the "holdup" was Kayinda's office never submitted. Several more calls to Kayinda, leaving messages, and finally got a call and an apology and the office manager would check with verification and get the appeal filed. That was 4 weeks ago and no appeal has been filed with my insurance. From calling for my first appt. to today, it has now been a year with no appeal for authorization for surgery ever filed. If you like wasting your time and being lied to, then this is the place.

Horrible phone service, agent Jose was EXTREMELY unhelpful and refused to schedule make an appointment for my grandmother's eye infection that has spread to her other eye. To him this was not emergent and could wait until February or March. When I asked to speak to his supervisor he was evasive.

Went for a “follow up” following surgery “. Have been including my wife in all my appointments to have a 2nd set of ears to hear all conversations. It is recommended that you always have someone present with you in every appointment. You may otherwise find yourself being told something was not said by the doctor, or you misheard what was said. A trusted friends presence or that of your spouse is a must. There may be some good doctors at this facility but there are also some bad ones. It is a disappointment and our experience has led us to make the decision to seek out a new doctor elsewhere that is both professional in level of service including communication skills and is humble enough to admit when they make a mistake. It is of our opinion that you should seek out other options before using Dr. Goldman at this facility.

2 horrible office people that make me sick.

Dr. Brems runs his patients through his practice like a puppy mill. If he runs enough dogs through his careless hands, eventually you'll find a puppy that can see. I wish I had read all the reviews out there in advance. Wow. Who would ever see a doctor that has more one-star reviews than five-star reviews. Apparently me, because I didn't read the reviews. If you gamble, your odds of success is greater than obtaining a good outcome with your eyes. The doctors results were comparable to gambling, not quite fifty percent. Taking this level of chance on your eyes are not worth the positive outcome you are looking for. There are no redo's with your eyes. Also, confirming the lack of communication being expressed over and over, I did not learn until after the drip IV was in my blood-stream that I had glaucoma in my second eye. The final outcome speaks to the rationale why I'm leaving this review

The doctor there saved my eye from a freak accident. I trust them and absolutely would recommend them to anyone. The best eye surgeons in the state. Thanks

This has to be the worst facility I've honestly ever been to in my entire life. Rude and very unprofessional staff that will literally laugh in your face. First they reschedule my appointment without confirming that's it's okay or calling, literally laugh in my face, and then have the most horrible and unhelpful staff. Do your job and do better, plain and simple.

The crappiest workers and most unprofessional “doctors” ever!! Rude service and the employees will literally laugh in your face for asking to speak with management when they are the staff that’s overbooked people. If you do not like your job please do not work here! Do not come here unless you like rude workers and overbooked appointments. DO YOUR JOB AND DO BETTER.

The tech, Rosario, made a bunch of assumptions concerning my initial exam. Asking questions but also answering them... wrong. Never asked if I had a previous prescription. When I informed her the sunglasses I'm wearing are prescription, she replied that information would have been nice to have. One, you didn't read, and two, you didn't ask. Then she dialed me and had me take a peripheral vision test. This test was supposed ro be done prior to dilating my pupils. The doctor, was okay. He did his part. Then the lady with the frames... just looking at frames being I am in the market for two pair of glasses. Regular and sunglasses. She was very rude and condescending. Yeah, no. I'll keep my money where I get treated with respect.
