The wait time is awful! I would literally make sure you leave about 3 to 4 hrs of visit time to have your eyes checked even for a followup. There is no update and basically waiting and waiting. Poor customer service imp.

Excellent place to go if you have to have this type of procedure done. Staff was excellent. Everybody know exactly what to do very together. I was in and out two hours.

Dr Schadlu performed successful surgery on my right eye after a ruptured posterior capsule complication during cataract surgery at the Mayo Clinic. He is an excellent surgeon. That said, my experiences in follow-up care are extremely annoying. Long waits, demands for $70 scans (that are not covered by insurance!?!) every time, and head butting with techs that want to dilate my left eye (he didn't operate on this eye!!) every single time. If these scans are so important- insurance would pay for them. I wonder...are patients just being charged to pay off the cost of the machine? The wait times are crazy.. 2 hr minimum. It's a shame that such a great surgeon can't run his office better. There is a long history of poor office management here... the saving grace is Dr Schadlu's expertise.

I had a very disappointing experience with this retinal practice. From the beginning, communication was extremely poor. Despite multiple phone calls, I was unable to get clear or accurate answers to my questions. When I finally spoke with the practice manager, I was given information that turned out to be completely incorrect. My surgery time and post-operative appointment were changed four separate times, which created unnecessary stress and inconvenience. On top of that, the doctor assigned to me from the surgery to the post-op was changed without explanation. This is unacceptable! Overall, this office was disorganized and ineffective, and my experience lacked the professionalism and reliability I would expect for something as serious as eye care The provider I had was exceptionally good with details about how his surgery would fix my torn macular was a great listener too. I can only hope he reads this post to realize how poorly his practice is run.

Got me in for the appointment quickly after my optometrist discovered the detached retina. Diagnosed the issue and had surgery scheduled for the next day. I'm today's world of medicine I am super impressed
