I have struggled with a recurring hip dislocation issue and was in the process of seeking out hip revision specialists. Dr. Austin McPhilamy is the man! He was able to identify the reasons for the dislocations and then make the surgical corrections with expertise! Dr. McPhilamy is not only experienced and competent in his field, but he is personable, caring and compassionate. He is a clear communicator, listens well and will graciously answer question upon question! He has great bedside manner, is patient, and is punctual for appointments! He has truly been a Godsend!

Always takes time to answer questions and concerns. I have a really intense and complex injury and it would've been a hundred times worse to deal with my current situation with a doctor who doesn't give that sense of caring. I'm fortunate to say that he's been a real pleasure to work with. Highly recommend him for the job.

The doctor was very thorough in explaining everything that will be happening and including me and including me in the decision making process as well as making sure all of my questions are answered and I'm comfortable with the upcoming procedure. An hour late for the appointment, didn't even bother to check my broken arm or take it out of the brace. Just asked if I had any questions, sent me on my way, and charged me for surgery. Absolutely would not return. You're better off finding a doctor who actually provides care
