List of Banner Surgery Center - University's Reviews
My wife had surgery scheduled today, she Sneezed two time in the waiting room your normal clear the Sinuses in the morning. They refused to do the surgery because they think she sick. We have been home for a hour now and she hasn't Sneezed one time. This was a waist of are time, now we don't know when she will get her surgery. And you think the American medical system is the best in the world I think not.Well we got her the surgery at your 93 Ave location! Two days after they refused her at the 10st location. They couldn't understand why your 10 st location wouldn't do the surgery for Sneezing two times. Maybe your employees need to think of the stress and pain someone is under when going for surgery. This is a complete disregard to a person care, well being, stress, emotions. The doctor wouldn't have scheduled the surgery if he didn't think it was necessary! Not only did you waist are time you waisted the Doctor time and the Doctor need to find a location he could help my wife at two days later.
It was finally time for a colonoscopy, much to my dismay, but we all get older so what are you going to do but take care of yourself. Still I was not looking forward to it at all as I walked in to Banner Surgery Center to have it done. I was immediately impressed with the waiting area and the girl who checked me in. Very professional and clean with no waiting necessary as they had me moved into the back room earlier than my scheduled appointment. This was nice as it didn't give me too much free time in the waiting room to get nervous. There was some difficulty in getting the IV in my arm, like she stuck me FIVE times before the anesthesiologist who was walking by saw what she was doing to me and took over which I was very grateful for.. He got it in one poke, but my arm now looks like my old lady tuned me up for burning the roast. That issue aside, the rest of the staff were all great and turned what could have been a terrifying experience into no big deal at all. Dr Kim who did the actual procedure was extremely professional and explained what he was going to do and I was in and out of there in under two hours. Everything was fine and I don't need to go back for another five years; Woo Hoo!
Banner surgery center is a great place to get many different things done. I currently and getting my hpv looked at by Jason Weiss and have had some of the nicest nurse Marie and all the other great staff here at banner surgery center which is located on the corner connected to banner university hospital. Great place to get work done and have any issue looked at by the great kind carry Drs. And nurses. Thank you banner surgery center.
Great job
The staff and Doctors there are great. Had a recent eye surgery done by my Docter Dr Ursea. All personnel i came in contact with made me very relaxed. Can't say enough about the nurses, they were on top of every thing and kept me informed from beginning to end. I am looking forward to my next visit.
This staff at the banner Surgery center is the best ever they are all wonderful caring people Maria Christina Felishsa and Darius Ann in recovery andOf course dr Frankie those are just some of the people that make me feel so comfortable and st easeI’m going to miss them when my treatments are over but I’ve never been to such a wonderful medical facility. Thank you all
Answer your phone. Was on hold for 20 minutes saying I was the next person in line then was told due to the high demand of phone calls (again I was caller number 1...) I was told to leave a message then was disconnected before having the chance to leave a messgae. Have tried three days in a row now with the same outcome. Have no idea how to get an estimate for a surgery I am told I need to pay upfront for. Don't appreciate being lied to that "my phone call is important very important to them" when they obviously don't answer their damn phone.
I was honestly quite nervous before the surgery today but after arriving at banner surgery center my fears were quickly banished by the caring, efficient and professional staff.A team of highly qualified nurses put me at ease and within minutes I was very comfortably resting on a bed with a warm blanket. My surgeon was equally as impressive and before long it was all over, and I was ready to go home. I would not hesitate to recommend this surgery center to anyone seeking high quality care.
I went by ambulance to Banner on 9/11/18 straight from work, thinking I might have heart issues but hours later found out I had a Spontaneous Pneumothorax (collapsed lung). I ended up being admitted. I wish I could remember the Doctor's name that came to see me several times a week, I really liked him and he explained my condition in layman's terms. He's a GREAT doc! Anyway.....After 8 days with a drainage tube connected to my pleural wall, my surgeon, Dr. Rodriguez -Colon comes in to inform me that it's not working and I need surgery. He was very calm and gentle. Still, It was really scary and totally unexpected. The day of surgery, the anaesthesiologist introduced himself, was cool and gave me Michael Jackson juice so of course I was fine (I remember NOTHING) .. AFTER surgery I was a mess! You can imagine the pain of a freshly operated lung. However, the surgeons, anaesthesiologist, nurses and nurse's assistants were amazing! My first time in a hospital besides giving birth 25 yrs ago and I was here for 14 days. I still can't believe it! All the docs are lifesavers, geniuses and deserve the utmost respect. They do God's work, literally.
Horrible service after my surgery plus my cellphone got lost!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
