List of Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center's Reviews
I had a 9:15 appointment and was not called in until after 10AM. I had a different appointment somewhere else and told them that I had to be out no later than 11:10. They did manage to get me out quickly, while still being thorough. I just wish they honored my appointment time.
Have seen Dr Coulsen every 6 months for many years. BDP did my cataract surgery and Blepharoplasty. I have found the physicians to be excellent, the technicians to be very good and the office staff to be rude, condescending and not adverse to lying. If you want excellent eye care and don't mind being treated like crap then this is the place for you.
While Dr. Perkins is an excellent eye doctor the rest of it isn’t so excellent. I was scheduled for a full eye exam which includes dilation. I had to ask a family member to take off work so someone could drive me home. I get there and it was a mistake. It was only for a follow up for dry eye. The scheduling department is terrible and can’t get callbacks at all or they are delayed callbacks. The process of getting prescription refills leaves much to be desired as well. I believe all in all they are too busy worrying about getting as many people in as possible and it shows.
Everyone was knowledgeable and considerate of the patients and I would definitely recommend them
Great staff, great experience, great services, all questions asked were answered. Thank you.
Very good experience like the doctor a lot
I was rushed through results of exam with little attention by Dr Garber. I did not receive hard copy of glasses prescription. Also little explanation on pharmacy script.
One of the worst experiences of my life. This is warehouse, production line surgery. I was yelled at and berated by my anesthesiologist. Months later, it still bothers me that a doctor would treat a patient like that. I was vulnerable, on the table and felt little recourse at the moment. I complained to the office manager but I have no idea if the woman was spoken to.
Communication!!!! You get there and check in on a table no staff interaction if you do interact with a staff they just walk you to check in on the the table, the tables are placed in high traffic areas if you try to check in on one of the three other tables you can get through. After checking in the wait begins 15 to 45 minutes of waiting to see the doctor and when you ask the doctors why it taking so long they advise when you come for your appointment expect to be there for 2 to 3 Hours.
I assisted my father to see Dr. Perkins. Dr. Perkins is very understanding, considerate, compassionate and caring. The whole office personnel and assistants were superb. My father is looking forward to his next appointments and procedure.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
