Ben Donovan's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ben Donovan is an "Excellent" urologist. He treated me with respect, concern, answered all of my questions and assured that I was as comfortable as possible. His entire staff displayed a high degree of professionalism. Glad that I found this Doctor! John C. Boyer. Goodyear, AZ

At initial visit, I brought all records (extensive) of urology issues and long list of current medications. I had one test done and an x-ray. He was to call my nephrologist to consult on my care. He did not call the nephrologist. He recommended a new drug for me but failed to look at existing medications from which I was already taking that drug. He recommended a change to that drug but, again, without consulting my medication list but only after I provided verbally my medications and one had a possible interaction. We decided not to change medications. He then spoke of a procedure that was indicated from the test that was run. He did not provide x-ray or ultrasound confirmation of the procedure being needed which I then questioned. He lobbied, almost bullied that in his opinion the confirmation would not be necessary. I will not return to this doctor.

Dr. Donovan is an amazing surgeon. He has been taking care of my 3 yr old since he was a newborn. His surgery was done yesterday and my son is doing so good. I highly recommend him. He is easy to talk to and his MA Erica returns calls in a timely manner. He's simply a great doctor. Thank you so much for helping Samuel.

My 13 year old son recently had a procedure performed by Dr. Donovan. He and his staff provided the most outstanding care for him every step of the way. He is the consummate professional; a no-nonsense, highly knowledgeable physician who is warm and personable, and able to reassure even the most anxious mom-me! He has a wonderful bedside manner, and is awesome with kids. My son has had an excellent experience with Dr. Donovan, and I highly recommend him-he's the best! Thank you Dr. Donovan!

I am very pleased to have been able to work with Dr Donovan. He has been great with dealing with my daughters condition all the way from the beginning to the end which resulted in surgery. He actually took the time to listen to my concerns and take the right avenues to determine what was wrong and correcting the issue.

Absolutely amazed by the care we received by Dr Donovan and his staff! It's very rare to find a Dr that truly listens to all of your concerns as a worried parent without making you feel rushed. It was immediately obvious how much both Dr Donovan and his nurse love working with children and understand how worried parents feel. His office may be busy but the wait wasn't that long and well worth it!! I will recommend him to everyone I know! Parents need to let each other know when they find a great doctor like this!!

The office staff was very nice and down to earth. Dr Donovan and his nurse were very good with all of my kids,so much so, they didnt even realize they were at the doctors. I would absolutely recomend Dr Donovan since the entire office treated us as family. Hard to find Doctors like him

Office staff were very friendly and his nurse was great with my kids. Even though the office was busy, I did not have to wait long and Dr Donovan took his time with my family. Great bedside manner and excellent with kids. I will definetly recommend him to everyone I know because it is hard to find a physician that actually cares about his patients the way Dr Donovan does
