Dr. Allen was incredibly helpful in giving me the tools to get healthy on my own. In 90 days I was able to drop 20+ pounds, lower my blood pressure, get off my bp medication, and avoid cholesterol meds altogether. Now I take no prescription meds, my arthritis and asthma are undetectable and I am the healthiest I have been in 15 years.She helped me understand that I am in control of my health and it starts with nutrition. Despite being a very educated person I was oblivious to the self-inflicted damage from my standard American diet (SAD). Had I only known I was the one causing my own health problems!Thank goodness for doctors like Dr. Allen. We need more like her. She took the time to discuss my health issues without judgment, and allowed me the time and opportunity to change the future instead of just prescribing a pill to treat the symptom—any doctor can do that. But a caring doctor offers solutions and empowers you in matters affecting your health. Thank you, Dr. Allen!

I am a type 1 diabetic, and been with plenty of doctors in my life time. I find Dr. Allen very caring and willing to listen to my concerns. She was very open to a low carbohydrate/low insulin approach for diabetic treatment. I've done plenty of reading on diabetes and research articles and Dr. Allen seemed very up to date with current research. I am very pleased with her care and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Allen is always so kind and compassionate. She validates my concerns and answers my questions with empathy and sincerity. She has a casual demeanor and it’s refreshing to interact with her. I never feel intimidated or anxious when I visit. I highly recommend her, she is a great advocate to have on your side.
