DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!! My wife and I called his office and told his staff that we would be late. They said their policy is 15min max. We got there 13min late (under 15min) and by the time the ignorant staff member talked to us, they said we were 1 MINUTE OVER the 15min and she would need to check with Dr. Del Rio. After 5min, the staff member came back and said the doctor said 15min is policy and to reschedule. We walked out and will NEVER come back to his office or refer anyone to his office. Mind you, our baby is 2 months old and we drove for 45min in traffic to get to their office. Patients be aware!!!

I saw Dr. Villanueva on Friday and he was fantastic. I was so worried and anxious going into that appointment, but Dr. Villanueva made me feel at peace and calm about my baby. He even took the time to draw out a whole diagram to explain to me everything so that I would have all the knowledge. He took time to also re-explain a few things to my husband that had to come late to the appointment because of work. I appreciated that he was patient with all of my questions and I could tell that he really cared. I left the appointment feeling at ease and having all my questions answered. Sometimes it's rare to find a doctor like this - which is why I'm taking the time to leave a review because I appreciate how much care Dr. Villanueva put into the appointment.

Dr. Villanueva was absolutely great. He sat down to speak with us and never made us feel rushed. He listened to our concerns and made us feel at ease. We would definitely recommend him for anyone needing a pediatric urologist!

I was not as impressed with Dr. V as I was hoping. He did not seem kid-friendly, in fact he did not even talk to my son. I got the feeling that our case wasn't "interesting" enough and he was in a hurry. We went to him for a second opinion, and that was a mistake.

I don't even know where to begin - Dr. Villanueva never seemed to be in a hurry and explained all of the possible outcomes of surgery and I didn't feel pressured into one choice over another. I felt like he listened patiently to my concerns. He sent me a video for my daughter to watch to help guide her and he also gave me his direct cell number after surgery so that I could contact him if there were any problems. But he was never in a hurry, even though he probably has lots of patients calling.
