List of Chad M. Ruoff's Reviews
The visit was good, a nice experience. But since that visit about 18 months ago I have never been able to see him again. I had a telephone appointment. He kept it very short. He doesn't answer emails but has his nurse answer them.
Dr. Ruoff is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He is extremely versed in sleep medicine disorders and his bedside manner is excellent. He is very attentive to my needs and I appreciate his diligence to my situation.
Dr. Ruoff worked with me at Stanford Medical before he went to LA. He was very attentive, personable, and collaborated with me to solve my sleep apnea issues. I was sad that he left. I have not found a doctor that attends to my specific needs as he did.
Dr. Ruoff is one of the most caring, attentive and astute doctors I have ever been to. He's a fantastic listener who understands his patient's concerns, confusions and fears. I felt completely safe with him and trust his expertise to help me to return to perefect sleep/health.
I came to Dr. Ruoff with a complicated sleep issue. He was interested in me only as long as I was doing well in curing myself of my disorder. When I started having difficulties, he became less and less enthusiastic and less and less available. Had no creative solutions, wouldn't follow through with my requests and ideas and, in fact, suggested to me that I lower my expectations for working with other doctors. Friendly and personable, but only likes patients when he has easy feel-good success.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
