Excellent Doc and staff Highly recommend

Dr. Wolter took on my case a year ago. It was complicated, something a run of the mill urologist will rarely if ever see. I arrived to meet him, he couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, courteous and professional. He cleared out his schedule for me, I went through several diagnostic procedures during my first visit. At the end of that day, he had me scheduled for a complex surgery a few weeks later. Dr. Wolter took the time to explain to me what was wrong and what would be done to fix the problem(s) I was facing. I had to have 2 additional procedures after the surgery, both performed by Dr. Wolter, and a year later, my life has been largely returned to me. The staff in his practice is incredible, as are his associates and the hospital. I cannot say enough good about them.

I cannot thank Dr. Wolter and his fantastic team enough. I had a mid urethral sling that was eroding only a year or so after it was installed by another physician. This caused me constant discomfort, frequent UTIs, and a significantly decreased quality of life. I was desperate to find a solution. My research took me to the Mayo Clinic, and I am so grateful to have found Dr. Wolter when I did. He immediately came up with a creative solution to remove my eroding sling, fix my incontinence, and completed an outpatient urethral reconstruction surgery. Within a couple of months I had my quality of life back. Dr. Wolter is a phenomenal surgeon, a patient and caring physician, and his staff was always helpful and kind. I cannot recommend him enough.

Did not address concerns after multiple visits, and was both rude and condescending after I offered my own diagnosis and thoughts on what was going on. His knowledge and treatment options for the specific condition I was seeing him for were extremely out of date. I was essentially told to wait for my symptoms to worsen and return later. I had to ask him to examine me physically, and he was not thorough at all. He was so interested in dismissing my concerns he was not able to make a positive diagnosis. Altogether, my appointments cost around $800 with an insurance copay, and Dr. Wolter was extremely dismissive my patient concerns. This was a complete waste of time, and money. I scheduled with a new urologist at a different clinic and have been receiving much better care. After a thorough physical examination they ordered a penile ultrasound and CONFIRMED the diagnosis I had been trying to give to Dr. Wolter. Do not blindly trust this Dr. because of the clinic he works at. Horrible!

I tried to make an appointment but was told he’s not accepting government paid patients- no older people, poor people or vets. There’s discrimination for you!

Dr. Wolter is thorough, knowledgeable, and delivers results. I am very grateful to him for restoring my function. He also has a wonderful sense of humor. :)

Dr. Wolter did the DaVinci robot-assisted sacrocolpopexy and sling surgery in 2011 at Mayo Clinic. I was in and out in 24 hours. I have not had any problems. I found Dr Wolter to have a pleasant bedside manor and he explained the procedure and what to expect in terms that I could understand. I would like to recommend him! But I am having trouble finding him. (No longer at Mayo?)

Has effectively repaired my urethral that has plagued me for about 40 years.

I suffered through years of incontinence and botched procedures until I found Dr Wolter. He is an excellent, caring Doctor. He is always pleasant as our his staff members. I recommend him highly!

After years of urinary incontinence I found Dr Wolter. He is a wonderful Doctor with a pleasant bedside manner. You need that when you are dealing with this sensitive issue! I would not hesitate to recommend him!
