Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Dane Hill's Reviews
I have had a lipoma on the back of my neck for many years. It was unsightly and a nuisance when laying down to sleep. I have some other health issues that require I be on blood thinners and this has proved an obstacle for many Dr's approach to my health. Surgery is a last resort due to the complexity of keeping my blood at needed levels. Dr. Hill explained that he was fully aware of the blood issue and knew how to handle the procedure without undue concern regarding my blood thinner. He performed the procedure quickly, confidently and effectively. He made sure I was feeling no discomfort during the procedure and followed up with me a couple of times post surgery to make sure I was doing ok. He had me come in for a followup and reassured me that all was well and looking good. I appreciated him taking the time to explain what and why he was doing what he did. He seems to be a caring and kind Dr. who loves his work. He told me so and I believe him.
Had a small bump on my nose shaved off by my dermatologist and it came back basal cell. Since it was on my nose I needed a qualified MOHs MD and my research turned up Dr. Dane Hill from Epiphany Dermatology (formerly Arrowhead Dermatology) in Peoria AZ. The surgery went smooth except there was a little cancer on the bottom margin that he found and removed 30 minutes after removing the area originally shaved. 30 minutes later he came back, said he got it all and showed me how he would close the spot where the cancer was removed. The whole process didn't take long and when Dr Hill finished he showed me the specimen slides and explained the difference between good cells and cancer cells under the microscope. Today, only 8 days later I had my stitches taken out and the surgery site is hardly noticeable. Oh, have you ever had a doctor call you the next day and see how you were doing? Dr Hill called the next morning. 5 stars isn't high enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
