Dr. Adelson has seriously been a Godsend to me! I have been dealing with severe pain and muscle spasms in my shoulder, upper/ mid back, and arm for almost ten years-- I have been to countless doctors over the years, all who told me it was either "in my head" or that it was due to other issues I had been diagnosed with, some which had absolutely no correlation with where my pain was. Not a single doc had suggested it may be thoracic outlet syndrome. After discovering through my own research that I had TOS with arterial compression, I was finally referred to Dr. Adelson. Although he is a pediatric neurosurgeon, he is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable in treating thoracic outlet syndrome, and treating patients of all ages. His office got me right in for a consultation and I left feeling like someone FINALLY understood what I had been going through. He had excellent bedside manner, and seemed genuinely confident that he could help me. I underwent surgery three weeks ago and I couldn't believe how great I felt, even on the same day of surgery. I now have a nice strong pulse in my left arm, I am able to lift it above my head, and it no longer goes numb when I lift my arm up. I am looking forward to starting physical therapy next week, and because of Dr. Adelson, I am finally looking forward to my future! Thanks so much Dr. Adelson. :)

I was a patient of Doctor Adelson when his practice was in Pittsburgh, PA. I was an unusual case. You could see the stress in his face when trying to find a solution. His bedside manner is awesome. I recommend him for any neurosurgeon areas needed.

Dr. Adelson has been an amazing gift to our family. He has provided us with much comfort as we have navigated a difficult hospitalization. He took the time to fully explain complicated situations along with answering any and all questions. His team was also a bright light in our hospital stay, always providing the most compassionate care for our little man.

i have phoreses and ive had it since i was 13 i went to other clince and they all tell me i cant get rid of it well ive went to see the doctor and he did some test and he got me on hummra shots and ive been cleared for two years
