I spoke with the receptionist, Diana, over the phone and was incredibly impressed by how professional and caring she was. Even without meeting in person, her warmth and professionalism came through. It's rare to have such a positive experience just over a call, truly appreciated!
The most proactive clinic I’ve ever been to. One of the worst parts about seeking psychiatric care is lack of proper communication from offices (esp regarding refills). Never a problem here. It’s very refreshing, and takes away a major nuisance of treatment that a lot of other offices gloss over. Dr Kodysz is my Dr and I have nothing but good things to say. After over a decade of being prescribed incorrect medications over and over again, he was the first to listen to me. (I don’t give out good reviews lightly, especially for mental health treatment centers. You can look at my profile and read my review for Serenity Health, to see what NOT to do.) A lot of mental health practitioners push medication onto patients, even when they are not required. Dr Kodysz was the only psychiatrist I’ve had, that realized over medication could be causing side effects, rather than the other way around (under medication causing symptoms). For the first time in my life, I feel like I have hope. I successfully tapered off almost all medications, which confirmed this whole time, I was simply intolerant to SSRIs. This is the least amount of Rxs I’ve been on, and the clearest my mind has ever been. Dr Kodysz once even suggested, that rather than compensating with insomnia medications, it’s better to treat insomnia with anxiety-reduction therapy first. I was extremely surprised, as I have always had the opposite occur (med-first approach). Although it seems “annoying “ initially from a patients perspective (trust me, I wanted a “quick” fix as well), this conservative approach is the only way to go. Medications, especially mental health medications, cannot fix a human being. In today’s society, a clinician who understands this is extremely difficult to come by. Whole heartedly recommend both the clinic (office staff/support staff) and my psychiatrist, Dr Kodysz.
I love the service I'm receiving!!
I wanted to believe I’d finally found a psychiatry practice that listened. At first, it seemed like I was understood and my needs were actually being heard. But once you sign that paper—where it says you owe $100 for a missed appointment—that’s the loophole they use to take your money, no questions asked. I missed one appointment due to being seriously sick, thinking I could reschedule and pay when I was able, like most places. Instead, they took $100 straight from my account with zero warning or compassion. Life happens, but apparently, this place doesn’t care what you’re going through. What’s worse, my last two appointments, I left with no real help—no prescriptions, just told my issues were “physiological.” Yet they still billed my insurance, and then took whatever money they could from me. Then they returned my phone call and say I was being abusive for my reaction and wanted to discharge me not that that was a problem. I was gonna discharge myself, but this is a real experience. That I had with this company This practice felt caring at first, but it’s clear now that it’s about the money, not the patient. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Greedy and unempathetic—especially when you need understanding the most.
I am a very new patient but I’ve had an excellent experience at Desert Clover Psychiatry. Dr. Logan is extremely knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and truly listened to my concerns. He developed a personalized therapeutic plan and prescribed the appropriate medication, which has made a significant difference in my mood and thought processes after just three days. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield, and my copay was minimal. The wait times were short, and being open on Saturdays is incredibly convenient. The pre-approval process for medications was handled quickly, and they even offer an in-house therapist—another great bonus. Overall, it’s a one-stop shop for quality mental health care. I highly recommend Desert Clover Psychiatry—10/10!
Both Logan and Meghan have been a tremendous help for me. Everyone is super welcoming and they make it a safe place to express your concerns. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs therapy or medication management!
As an over achieving woman who is known for disrupting the “status-quo” in the corporate world of Tech Sales I found myself struggling to acknowledge my worth, manage a high stress career, address the intricacies of complex ADHD, understand impostor syndrome, and really manage life, marriage, and the health of my family. While balancing the complexities of life have been a ongoing challenge for me before, this time it felt different — heavier. I found myself in a dark place grappling intense feelings of lost, denial, loneliness, and oddly enough constantly carrying a feeling shame for not “good enough”. That's when I knew I had to leverage some support to help me manage this chapter in my adult life. Working with Meghan Terwillige, LCMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor @ Desert Clover Psychiatry has been innstrumental to my mental and emotional health. I highly recommend Desert Clover Psychiatryfor children and adults seeking peace, acceptance, and balance in their self and surroundings. Their offices are a clean, safe and welcoming with highly qualified staff members who care about making a difference in people’s lives.
I don’t know where to begin with this place. For years I was a patient at a behavior health place that was a genuine nightmare to interact with. After a final, stressful, dehumanizing interaction with them my wife searched for a new doctor and found the good people at desert clover. the first time I called, they answered almost immediately. The front office staff was helpful and kind. I went in to see doctor Logan and was again blown away with how inviting, considerate and compassionate everyone was. During the post COVID days medication was difficult to get every month. Unlike my old doctors office, they helped find medication and kept up with my wellbeing through the process. If there was ever a complication they were on it immediately. To all the staff at Desert Clover, you have all made me feel like a human again. You eased my worries during difficult times and have treated me like a friend since day one. I cannot thank you enough. -Clay
Positive energy from the moment I walked through the door. Friendly and efficient staff and truly felt like my issues and concerns were addressed with respect, empathy and care by Dr Lacy Garth.
Very welcoming and empathetic staff. I feel lucky to have found this place and to have this resource in my community.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
