Dr Sloan although certified to perform IORT for breast cancer, claimed it was too much bother to leave his office to do the procedure. The hospital is just across the parking lot outside his office. It is a 12 minute procedure and certainly would not disrupt his day more than 1/2 hour which he would charge for. He preferred a more invasive radiation treatment. Forgot to do breast exam and had to call me back in. Next day called and insisted I have double mastectomy for stage 1 cancer.

Dr. Sloan provided information and was proactive in moving a stagnate case forward. Extremely knowledgeable was able to show and articulate in lay terms what to expect and needed to be done. Top notch, transparent, compassionate and kind ... it extends to his staff as well. Wholeheartedly recommend!
