Amazing experience with the care given to my baby and I. The doctors, residents, and staffs from Labor & Delivery, Mother & Baby Unit were so wonderful. I highly recommend them.
WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!! The staff has absolutely NO COMPASSIO- I would turn my call light on they would turn off w/o answering, they smashed my finger in the bed rail and I was told " it's fine" never could reach my side table they purposely would hide my call light I was told that I didn't need help, I just had a partial right leg amputation when I was told I didn't need help!!! denied water the list goes on and on I HAVE NEVER been treated so bad, Go someplace else like Banner much more care and compassion only gave 1 star to be seen! For a new hospital it should have NEVER OPENED- I heard others screaming for help through out the day/ night as well- Nurses told me they would get to me as they " WANTED " yes AS THEY WANTED!! when I did get help I was tossed and laid in bed w/o blanket. 1 nurse told me that I'm not going to help you again! I just can't believe how AWFUL I WAS TREATED I JUST HAD PART OF MY LEG REMOVED AND I WAS TREATED SO INHUMAN DOGS ARE TREATED BETTER!!!!!
This emergency room is the worst. I came in complaining of my throat being very sore, fever, chest pains, having the chills, back pain and a massive headache. They did a covid, flu and strep test and told me they were all negative which was false. I definitely had strep and had to suffer 3 days with the pain cause I trusted what they told me and just tried to ride it out (as they told me). I was told I had a non bacterial virus that kids are passing to adults and was given Tylenol and ibuprofen for my fever and pain. When I called today to let them know I was misdiagnosed I was told by Amber the supervisor "that's why we tell you to follow up with your primary care doctor; no apology, sympathy nothing and had the nerve to had an attitude. I work with kids and could have passed this to them cause they just rush people out and not do their job which is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to NO ONE!
I was transferred here as an ER patient to receive an MRI. I get here and they almost turn me away because they can't find my information sent to them from another hospital. After a few minutes, they finally received me. Then instead of sending me directly to MRI which was instructed by the previous hospital, they submitted me through all the same testing already completed. Needless to say, it's been 5 wasted hours and I am still waiting to get my MRI ordered. Serious lack of confidence in this staff. Go elsewhere!
Had a terrible experience with the staff in the internal medicine dept. I was running late a few mins - I don't drive, and public transport was moving slower than usual. I called the practice to inform them about this. After arriving, I went directly to the front desk, where I was asked, not once, not twice, but three times if I was a worker of a sector that's associated with illegal workers. I responded three times that I wasn't working there. I was asked how I managed to have the type of health insurance I have. Who was paying for my HI? Name and contact info of my employer?? It was not so much the questions but the realisation (after a while) that I was being discriminated against. No human deserves to be mistreated, and honestly, if they were so sure about their assumptions, they could have just told me earlier that they would not see me. In fact, I wasn't seen by the doctor and was only notified of this after the long line of questioning I was put through. Definitely, looking for a different practice because if this is how they treat people, I want nothing to do with them.
This place is terrible . You can tell most staff are just there for a check. The way my wife and I were spoken to by an elderly red head with a Karen haircut or bowl cut last night in the ER waiting room and how she had a laugh with security at my wife begging me to come back to an actual room NOT HALLWAY, AFTER the doctor said it was OKAY, is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Infuriated is putting it politely. However there was a younger gentleman who stepped in and did a MUCH better job with speaking to people and directing traffic .
I think this hospital is the worst of all, there is a number that doesn't even give you the option of making an appointment, and they always do the same thing, transferring your calls until they finally hang up on you, a year ago I left a message voice to the pediatrician Demy daughter that I needed an appointment and they never answered me with the call to put it, until now I was able to find a representative who will listen to my sad luck of being able to locate a pediatrician, and was able to give me a number to call to be able to put an appointment faster and easier. It's not that damn difficult, it's just that they pay attention to us and give us time so that they themselves give you a number or addresses of where to go so as not to give these qualifications because for me the word "HOSPITAL" INCLUDES FROM THE DIRECTOR TO THE CLEANERS" Even though the latter are not to blame for the bad behavior towards us, the doctors and nurses, which I would like to clarify, are not all like that, but most of them are. Don't just read the comments and give your stupid explanation, it is of some use to them because they have been doing the same thing for a long time. years ago, if they don't serve you better, quit the clinic because others can come to do your work for those in need much better and pay less.
The quality of care has definitely gone down. I was in the emergency room last month because of a fall. I had x-ray done on my knee and I was never given the results and discharged without talking to the doctor, or asked if the medication helped the pain. Worse emergency room!
I had my baby in this Hospital and I give thanks to the nurses Leigh, Steve, Jennifer, and Rebeca for taking care of me and my baby. Thank you for helping me you guys the best, God bless you all.
Since it started being renovated its been less then easy to navigate. As a missionary I visit hospitals occasionally to minister to members of my church. I've frequented most hospitals in central phoenix and this one seemed older, a little more crowded, and less organized. Kind staff who try their best are here though.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
