List of Elizabeth Cruz's Reviews
Updated to reflect the most recent 4 encounters. The office staff has been nice. I was scheduled for a procedure and had a question. The call was returned that day! The procedure went well. I did try to call the office manager to schedule but it was her lunchtime and I decided that I wanted to be treated like the other patients so I called and the scheduler answered. I am now looking at some of her holistic options. Dr Cruz was very nice when I did meet her.Ok, in all fairness, Dr. Cruz may deserve more stars but I didn't actually get to met her. My experience started with missing a scheduling call that was returned less than 5 minutes later to an answering machine. I made 3 more calls that also went to voice mail and not returned. I finally got a live person, she verified that they had called on August 5 (it was Nov 2nd), there were no records of my return calls. She explained the process. When I asked questions, she became condescending and repeated the exact instructions word for word. Then told me other people did not have a problem getting the forms back to thee office. I chose to have the forms mailed (apparently they are not available online). The forms arrived on a Friday (three days later) with the instructions to have them back in the office by Wednesday. I dropped them off on Tuesday. The office was busy with Christian music playing and a display with a bible on the table. I handed the paperwork to the receptionist and left. This morning I get a call from a person telling me my appointment has been cancelled because I did not turn in the paperwork as informed. She was incredibly condescending. I asked what was missing and was told license and insurance card. I stated that I didn't remember having to turn in copies prior to the appointment (keep in mind that all this information is on the forms I filled out and turned in). She cut me off and told me "You were informed" in the most rude, condescending voice possible. I lost it. I understand she claims to be a Christian, but if that is the way Christians treat people, I think she is not following the Christ whose life is outlined in the Holy Bible.
What type of doctor do you have to be to not allow a family member to go in with the patient? Never had other doctors deny a spouse entering with the patient.I find this offensive and ridiculous. Also, on the first visit don’t expect to see this half-witted doctor. Oh no, you only meet with a NURSE PRACTITIONER the first time (if only they would’ve charged me accordingly since this is not a real doctor I met with!). Obviously, Dr. Elizabeth (liz) Cruz is doing this to get more money from patients, having me come back a second time so that I MAY request an examination by“thou eminence.” Who does this inane doctor think she is?I feel beyond upset. This is not a real gastroenterologist, but a lucrative practice that focuses on money-making instead of helping patients.
The daily enzymes are great and keep me healthy every day. I haven’t had any heartburn since I started these 3 years ago. Great place!
Dr. Cruz saved my life. She was diligent to discover what was causing me stomach issue and found that I had colon cancer. She acted very quickly and got me into surgery 3 days later. Today I am a 3 year cancer survivor!
Office staff was super nice. Dr. Cruz was considerate. Explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions. She is just so loving and truly cares for her patients. I will continue to come back and recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much Dr Cruz.
Dr. Cruz team are very nice and knowledgeable about her products I have only been taking them just for a little while but I noticed the difference. And now I just added another productSo far pretty happy about it I recommend it. One of Dr Cruz‘s team member her name is Tina Taught me a lot
I have been a patient of Dr. Cruz's for about 9-10 years now. I have always had a wonderful experience in her office, all the staff are friendly and professional. I started taking her supplements about 4 years ago and wish I had started sooner! My GI issues have settled down and I feel better than ever! No more looking for the nearest restroom every time I leave my home. I highly recommend Dr. Cruz, Maureen and their supplements.
I have been using Dr. Cruz's supplements for a few years now andboy what a great difference in how I feel everyday and how muchbetter my organs perform!!!!! I feel blessed that I have Liz and Maureenwatching out for my health. They actually take the time to talk andlisten to their patients.
I came across Dr. Cruz and her staff from a referral for a routine colonoscopy and I am so glad I did. I now have a better understanding of how to manage the digestive issues I have been suffering from for years. The supplements and food allergy test are expensive, but the results are so worth it. Tina has been available and caring and her knowledge and guidance has been invaluable
You can NEVER get a live body to talk to in any department. POOR business practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
