Erwin A. Kruger's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Kruger was part of my care team for my skull flap replacement after a problem brain tumor resection. Dr. Kruger is an excellent Plastic Surgeon - he will answer all your questions, has an excellent bedside manner and complete follow ups. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kruger for any Plastic Surgery needs!

Dr E. Kruger not only saved my brothers leg, from amputation, He also saved his life. My brother was told by an ER physician, at KRMC ( in Kingman, Az.) that she would not treat him, he was going to die. (My brother is an X heroin user ) I am a retired LPN, and 71 years old, and had never heard of anyone saying that to a patient Later on,that month, he was air lifted to Mayo Clinic in Phoenix in septic shock. I thank Jesus that Dr. Erwin Kruger , our Hero , got involved!! He worked on my brother, did 7 procedures, He would not give up. From ankle to knee, most of the outer skin was necrotic. Dr Kruger did not care that my brother used drugs in the past, did not give a 2nt thought to insurance, Aetna would not pay over 55%. As if that is not enough, This Doctor from Heavens Gate, Always make you feel as if you were part of his family. Always a warm sincere greeting, with a smile. His parents need to write a "How to..." book. This world needs more like him. Ty

The absolute worst surgeon I have seen. I did a consultation with me. He’s passive aggressive & lacks confidence. When i saw him he was very demeaning. He ignored my rare disease diagnoses, instead claimed that I was munchausens, malingering etc. refused to learn about my rare diseases, was upset that I brought in surgery protocol for my conditions, he wasn’t happy I brought in a care manager to the appointment. My allergist recommended that my breast implants are worsening my condition & because i am allergic to material found in implants based on skin testing, my insurance was covering the surgery. I did my pre-op and had surgical clearance from everyone including Mayo but suddenly Dr. Kruger showed his true colors, told me to have a psych eval because I appear anxious by bringing in surgery protocol, then the worst part are the passive aggressive comments he made in my chart ! He made comments that I need a psych eval to rule out munchausens & malingering WITHOUT Reviewing my medical records & rare disease diagnoses. He could care less about that. He was afraid to do the surgery and just admit it, so instead made me look horrible in his notes. Also made the assertion that i’m bipolar, as a plastic surgeon , then lied & said those were my own words. Hid behavior is very strange & I can see why he works at Mayo. He wouldn’t last in private practice because he’s passive aggressive when he’s under stress. I wrote him a nice message in the Mayo portal & had to request that my records are corrected which no doubt he will not correct. And here I was just trying to have the surgery that my allergist recommended & this is what i got from Dr. Kruger, plastic surgery playing psychiatrist.

I met with Dr Krueger today following multiple surgeries performed by another surgeon who is in California. I had many complications and wanted a Dr who would take a fresh approach to my breast reconstruction. Dr Krueger was amazing. A few words or phrases come to mind when I describe him: Professional, approachable, excellent bedside manner, he listens and hears what you are saying. I know I’m in good hands with Dr Krueger. I feel a sense of relief knowing he cares enough to handle my case. Thank you, Dr K!

It was a great experience.

From start to finish Dr. Kruger and his staff worked hard to get all the neccessary documentation needed for my procedure. Dr. Kruger was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He did an excellent job, and so did his staff.
