Dr Downey and his team at Mayo Clinic performed Open Heart Surgery on me to replace leaky Aortic Valve on October 20 th 2022. He helped me to understand and choose Biological valve. I am 58 year old, fourth day was discharged from Hospital and fifth day was able to walk about 9000 steps around neighborhood. I am very satisfied and highly recommend Dr Downey and his team.

I had a triple bypass surgery that Dr. Downey performed on me on April 22, 2020. I was home and walking around the block in 5 days. I was walking 1 mile after 10 days post surgery. He is an excellent surgeon and his team is the best. I am one year out and hiking 5 miles 3 times a week and playing golf twice a week.

Dr. Downey is a skilled, caring and deeply empathetic physician/surgeon who performed thoracic surgery on me seven years ago and literally saved my life.
