List of George Yanik's Reviews
On March 18, 2021 I had a two hour surgery after which I suffered a corneal abrasion. When I got home after the surgery I called my Eye Dr he wasn't in but they gave me the name of Dr Yanik who is in their group and was seeing patients. I called and he had finished his patients for the day . He asked how quickly could I get there. He waited for me and I am forever grateful to him for that because Corneal Abrasions hurt a lot. He fixed the pain in a flash.
I’m very pleased with Dr. Yanik. I’ve gone to him for years. He always asks if I’ve any questions. Recently, I found a blind spot in my field of vision. He got me in the next day and then did follow up with me the next week. He answered all my questions and was very compassionate. I like the guy. Best one I’ve had. Tell the staff I referred you!
Dr. Yanik is the best of the best! He has cared for my eyes for years & helped me with everything in a kind, knowledgeable & caring attitude! I highly recommend him
Spent a great deal of time with me on multiple visits because of my eye troubles and explained everything in great detail. The optometrist is incredibly knowledgeable as well. Would highly and only recommend this office. Thank you!
When I had a sudden serious eye issue I called a number of Phoenix Opthalmology offices. All tried to set up an appointment some time in the future. When I called this office they asked me to describe my issue. They put me on hold and then came back on and said Dr. Yanik wonders if you can come in right now? After nearly 3 years as a patient, I completely trust this office and this doctor.
This guy is arrogant and patronizes you the whole visit. Doesn't treat you with the respect you deserve.
Very kind, very patient, and a great sense of humor.
Dr Yanik is a phenomenal Dr. I've been to his office multiple times (different medical issues) and on every occasion, he was thorough, professional and humorous. Yes, humorous. I went in worried about my vision. He explained the diagnosis, what my options were and the possible outcome. He referred me to several other specialty eye surgeons. All of my issues were resolved. I would highly recommend Dr Yanik. You will get exceptional care and he will put a smile on your face.
I have been seeing Dr. Yanik for several years. Dr. Yanik is refreshing, in that he gives good care with a dose of humor. Some may think that is unprofessional, but I love it! To heck with stuffy serious doctors. Dr. Yanik came recommended, and I would recommend him to others. "Humor is the best medicine," after all.
1st,don't go here for afternoon appointment, staff, techs, ladies up front, and doctor are all wanting get home, they won't complete a test if you blink on accident.(supposed keep eye wide open while they take picture.)they move on to next round test and rush, rush, you through ,then doctor comes in says your going blind,so get yourself into a school for deaf+blind get ready for total blindness. What a crock. I ask why not complete the test I blinked on? No need your going blind. You have no, -_zero,_ zilch perifial vision "he states," .I can see fine strait ahead, but not to my sides. So I guess I'm going blind. Definitely A SECOND OPINION is in store. Very unprofessional, and very, very not informative. Then he was out door saying nite to all as fast as he could...This doctor needs to retire . OMG

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
