List of Giraldo Kato's Reviews
Dr Kato’s oncology expertise is a gift to his patients!! Diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2016, I saw Dr Kato after meeting with several medical oncologists. I remember that appointment to this day. Not only did Dr Kato share his clinical plan with me, he shared a copy of a recently published peer reviewed clinical study that supported his treatment plan for me. Evidence based medicine. I was fortunate to see 4 medical oncologist in a span of a week sometimes multiple times, even after hours to ensure our questions were addressed for which I am immensely thankful. In the end, prayer and faith led me to chose Dr Kato. As a triple negative breast cancer survivor, my treatments were necessarily aggressive and difficult. 5 months of Chemo therapy followed by surgery then full dose of radiation. Through it all, I had Dr Kato and his team by my side. Chemo nurses were incredible and deserve a lot of praise for the work they do. I sincerely pray for a day when cancer is curable for all. That no child would lose a parent to cancer or a parent lose a child to cancer. Until then, I hope there are more Drs like Dr Kato, who tirelessly work to give patients the best possible outcome for survival and quality of life. It’s been over 7 years since my diagnosis; and have God, my family & Dr Kato to thank! I like most American don’t have a PCP; when I tried to establish myself as a new patient in Portland the wait was several weeks out. I made a tele health appointment with Dr Kato and he was able to formulate a prompt treatment plan to help me with my poor blood pressure control. I’m still needing follow up and blood work up but hopeful my blood preside can get under control, as I learned the hard way to make time for your health. I hope this helps its long overdue review.
I visited Dr Kato for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have been meaning to leave a glowing review on his behalf! We have been through several oncologists over the past few years here in Sedona...I was so relieved to meet Dr. Kato! He greeted me with a warm smile...he had already read my medical records and knew my history so we were able to talk right away about things that mattered the most to me...he has the most wonderful demeanor and bedside manner. I genuinely feel that he really cares about his patients. We are blessed to have such a wonderful oncologist here in Verde Valley!??????????
Who DOESN'T approve a COVID-19 blood test while they're getting their blood drawn? How come, Dr Kato? Want to spread the virus? Is that truly "patient care?" Or more like 'patient don't care."
This has nothing at all to do with dr Kato or heather who I would gladly give more than 5 stars Now that he is part of honor health you must pay an additional facility charge so essentially you get one bill for your medical visit and another to walk in the door and sign in It’s appalling that we now pay for rent at this office
An amazing experience that I am so thankful for when going thru something major. Thank you all for your kind and caring service...you make a huge difference in this world.
Dr Kati is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, sincere, respected professional in his field in my eyes. He has always had my back. I have completely trusted in his judgement for the past 7 years. He has been my advocate. I feel so very lucky to be in his care. Heather has been stellar as well, she listens and deeply cares. The best! Patty
Seems very rushed and irritated when you ask additional questions.
We are spending ten weeks in Scottsdale. We could only come if i could get a bi-weekly infusion. We called Dr. kato’s office and easily set up an appointment with Dr. Kato and also the infusion appointment. When we met Dr. Kato he had requested, received, and read all of my medical history. He sat down, went over everything, answered questions, and made me feel very comfortable. We are so lucky to have Dr. Kato as our doctor. The office is very clean. The infusion/treatment room is very comfortable. The nurses are extremely qualified, attentive and nice. The entire office does not keep you waiting for your appointment. I greatly appreciate the good treatment I am receiving.
Dr. Kato and his team are AMAZING, they listen and solve! Kind, compassionate, and smart are just a very few words to describe this team. Heather Anderson is 'Johnny On The Spot' with any issues you are having and her follow up is phenomenal. These people are my life savers. I've been going here 5 years now. I'm still on the fence about the transition to Honor Health this past year, but I'll give the 'new' people a little more time to figure out how to follow suit with the existing Pinnacle team who were great in EVERY dept - hopefully Honor Health can look into their patient services and provide proper training to just a couple spoiled apples. But if you want supreme 'medical' care - I highly recommend Dr. Kato - he is the best!
Dr. Kato is very knowledgable. I hve been seeing him for about 4 years. His choice of treatment for me has beeb excellent. His bedside manner is poor though. If I weren’t so confident of him, I might have moved on. But I have referred others to him and they feel similarly. Confident in his medical skills but not his bedside manner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
