I liked the fact that he did not rush me around took time. Explained in detail. Very patient and nice doctor. Appreciate your help and advise
I was very pleased with Dr Vikrams knowledge regarding my lung issues. He taught me more in a short time than any other Dr I have seen with my concerns. He was very professional, kind, clear and direct. I will look no further for an IDD. He follow up with me regarding a Pulmonogilist at Mayo immediately. Thank you Dr. Vikram
I was sent here by my primary doctor to further investigate some active infections I currently have. We had an hour blocked off and I made sure to fully prepare for this appointment by bringing all of my medical records and filling out the pre-questionnaire that they make you fill out and even took half the day off work to make sure I was fully prepared. The doctor skimmed through my records and when he read some of the reporting from my other doctors, he made up his mind right then and there and just didn’t want to help me. He didn’t even go over the questionnaire with me. I spent maybe 20 minutes in the room with him and he repeatedly told me “i show no signs of infection”. It made me so upset because my throat is infected and I have huge white patches on my tongue, and when someone is telling you that they don’t see any white patches on your tongue and no bright red spots in your throat, when they are there, you can’t help but not be upset. I tried to ask questions about “Infectious Disease” related topics and he just looked at me like I was stupid and kept saying “no” and shaking his head. I took the time to collect all of my medical records and he did not make any attempt to make sure this new data gets added to my Mayo medical record history. I left the appointment and took pictures outside of the office of my tongue and in my throat and you can CLEARLY see the white patches on my tongue, on my throat, and the bright red rashes next to it. The Emergency Room the next day told me that it looks like I have signs of infection and I am just beyond exhausted by doctors who just don’t want to do their job.
How to say this diplomatically. Wow. Each physician has their own opinion which is fine. But when the patient is treated badly, enduring insults and accusations, when carrying forth records, facts, and information from physicians with opposite ideas, there is a problem.
Thorough, professional, informative, prompt, attentive...how every visit with a doctor should be.
Dr Vikram began seeing my child about one month ago. I have been raving about him since. Very thorough, answered all my questions and has followed up personally after prescribing medication. We came to him more as a second opinion and he has been amazing. We won't be going anywhere else.
This doctor made up his mind about me, based on my history, before even seeing me in clinic. Therefore, I felt he was not at all interested in figuring out the cause of my symptoms. I didn't feel he spent much time trying to figure out my case & I didn't receive any follow up care. He came off in a hurry & disinterested. I expected better from a Mayo Clinic doctor especially after I traveled a very long distance to see this doctor.
No further comment. My friend did not get the treatment expected.
Very professional and knowledgeable with his area of expertise. Seems easy to speak to and ask questions to.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
