This surgeon is the absolute best! Did a multi-procedure surgery on my husband in early June with fantastic results. He is very caring and very skilled. We would go back to him at the Mayo Clinic in a heartbeat!

My husband had a surgery to repair an abdominal hernia, a hiatal hernia, and remove a gastric band that was out of place and was severely limiting his ability to eat. Dr. Madura is a very talented surgeon and also a very caring person. As far as we are concerned he is a miracle worker. My husbands quality of life has improved dramatically and we are so thankful. Thank you Dr. Madura!

I have been wondering where was after Dr. James Madura left they told me and I was so heartbroken, My husband and I love him he is so professional, take time with his patient's, educated ALL his patient, especially me. I had my Gastric surgery in 2003, here in Chicago IL. he and Samantha was an Awesome team and Dr. Prince. I know it is rude to not accept other physician care but I trust NO other Dr. when it came to my gastric surgery. I mean I see so many people getting the surgery now and some of these Physicians are not educating them. I have had people ask me have you had any issue's with your surgery ; NO because he made me wait to get a full exam from mental to cardiac, to dietician and told me I would never for him telling me to start preparing for your surgery now because we are not going surgery of the brain and how it controls your thinking when it comes down to food, we are doing Gastric Surgery is your stomach so get your eating under control. he and my husband help me out so much and I wish he was still here so many people ask me for referrals because I brag so much about him. Now that I am finished with school earning me an AAS HIM-Medical coding and billing Degree, He may not remember he was the one encouraging me to finish school but I was going for RN. My mom had pancreas cancer. There was no saving her. He did all he could. Very proffecional and appreciate the team of drs at the mayo clinic!
