List of Jeremy Payne's Reviews
I’m unsure if the problem is his affiliation with Banner hospitals or if he simply is unwilling to hire quality office staff. Dr. Payne is a quality doctor quite knowledgeable and never shrinks from letting you know that he is the consummate expert. It can be reassuring although comes off a bit haughty. However his office staff is abysmal to the point that any pros of the physician are far outweighed by the office’s cons. I see several specialists in his office. I’ve experienced 3 different scheduling mixups. I’ve had to wait weeks and weeks for them to properly submit information to insurance that generally takes any other doctor 12 days at most to complete. I have to nag and follow up on them constantly to ensure orders are properly handled. His assistant is unpleasant and offers her own opinions and advice outside of consulting with Dr. Payne. I’ve been scolded by the doctor for following her advice twice now he seems completely unaware actions were based on information provided by her. I’ve also reached a point now where I can no longer get any return call from the office I’m instead routes through some convoluted messaging system run by Banner health. Communication is horrible.
Dr. Payne is knowledgeable and good to work with. However his office staff is amongst the poorest I’ve experienced in 40+ years of seeing physicians of varying specialties. His current assistant is difficult to get a call back from most likely you will never hear from her. She is unpleasant condescending and seems to offer advice without consulting Dr. Payne who then questions why you made a decision without realizing it was based on his assistant’s information. Not at all patient friendly.
Dr Payne is a very knowledgeble professional. Not only is he very good at what he does but he also has an amazing personality. You get a straight medical opinion and answers to all your questions with a dose of good humor and kindness. Love Dr. Payne

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
