Was terribly disappointed we waited to see this Dr. He was incredibly degrading. Came barreling into the room asking why we were there, we began to try to tell him..got about 5 words out and he kept talking over us and was being so rude. Also misdiagnosed my child and had to go to another facility less than 24hrs later to get treated. I would never go back to see this doctor again. I can’t believe PCH actually employs him.

I'm very happy with the treatment I have received from Dr. Bouvier Jr. over a period of many years . He's always professional, friendly, and really demonstrates a genuine concern for his patients. He's one of the best, and I very recommend him, without reservation!

If you enjoy being treated like your an idiot then this is the DR to see. I have gotten him twice at the Children's Urgent care and both times were horrible. I will never go to that urgent care again. He is rude and he isn't thorough.

He was degrading in his demeanor and was busy which made the appointment last over 3 hours. There were very few other patients there at the time. Didn't check my daughters temperature until being questioned about it, more than once. Was considering sending to the ER even BEFORE the temperature was checked! Incompetent doctor and disrespectful bedside manner. Would not recommend anyone to see this doctor.

I love Dr.Bouvier (awesome personality and very caring about your well-being). I would recommend him to anyone, as he helped find why my left eye kept flaring up with infection (injury from 30 years ago). That was in 2005 and have had no problems since. You may wait longer for him, but it is only because he puts the care into his patients and should be worth it (its your eyes)!!!!

My wife is a nurse practitioner in the Springfield, MA area and knows a number of ophthalmologists; she told me that I was very fortunate to be referred to Dr. Bouvier. Following my visit, I understand why she made that statement. I also have a background in healthcare and I was extremely impressed with Dr. Bouvier. He is a compassionate, highly competent physician with a great bedside manner. I recommend him without reservation to any patient looking for an outstanding ophthalmologist.
