Joseph Wells Md's Online Review Report Card

I haven't seen Dr. Wells, but I have seen his others partners in this office. The office is clean, staff is friendly and I have always been helped promptly when I come in. All the Dr.'s here have been very kind, patient and offered me wonderful care. The office ladies are always very helpful when I call for my new insoles. I highly recommend this office!

Excellent podiatrist Doctor. Tons of experience. Very Patient. Took all the time you needed to answer questions. Painless Treatment and procedures. Very honest and truly a caring and nice person. Highly recommend.

Dr. Wells is an excellent and very caring Podiatrist. He did my hammertoe surgery 12 years ago, and now I'm back with an ankle problem. He gave me a cortesoine shot near the ankle due to flat feet pain. My ankle feels great since the injection, and no more pain. I highly recommend Dr. Wells to anyone having feet issues. He's the best! I find Dr. Wells to be very caring and compassionate with his patients. He takes time to explain things and doesn't just leave the room after a minute. I'm very pleased with his professionalism.

I've been taking my clients to this podiatry office for several years and they're always good. They schedule properly, have a clean waiting room/office and the doctors are great at listening to my clients concerns. They don't always answer the phone but if you leave s message they do call back in a day or two. This is my only concern and reason for 4 stars because what if someone needed directions or to talk to someone quickly

Absolutely the best! I had surgery on a couple ingrown nails a few months ago with another doctor and one of the ingrown nails grew back. I was referred to Dr Wells and wish I had gone to him initially. He was very professional, took his time to answer all my questions, explained the procedure and eased my anxiety. The procedure Dr Wells used to remove the ingrown nail was much less painful than what I experienced with the other doctor (hence my anxiety) during and after the surgery. I absolutely recommend Dr Wells to everyone.

Went there for the first time on 5/18/2018. Filled out the standard new patient paperwork. Got put in a room.I asked for the first available doctor when I made the appointment. In walked Dr Wells himself. Very nice, very experienced. I had an in grown toenail issue that could have waited, but he suggested we take care of it immediately. He went ahead and did the procedure right then. Very good job and just about pain free. I will definitely go back if I need to.

Loved this guy! I brought my old insoles that needed to be redone and he told me it would be cheaper for me to do it myself. If he took them it would cost $90. If I purchased the insole replacement from them then get this type of glue I could save a lot of cash. In the end the bottle of glue cost about $4 and the insoles he had were $10. Now I think that's a lot better than $90!I didn't give him five stars cuz the front desk lady barely even looked away from the computer and not much of a greeting but at least she wasn't snotty like some of these kids who can't say please and thank you.They did get me in and out fast!

Ok it's rare that make a mistake or jump the gun on reviewing...this is the first time...had a follow up appointment with Dr Wells today and there is nothing more I can say but outstanding in every way...spent a lot of time explaining everything in great detail...the only explanation I can give for the first review is that perhaps the doctors assistant or the front office procedure is for the doctors assistant to call back....would highly recommend Dr Wells to anyone having foot issues....

I want to update this review...Dr. Wells called me back and took the time to explain the test results, he personally made the appointment for me to come in and expedited the date...I am completely satisfied with the way this was handled and may have jumped the gun on my initial review...Went to Doctor Wells because Dr. Transfiguracion our normal foot doctor was not available....he ran a blood test and was supposed to call me back with the results...no call so we called the office, whoever we spoke with gave us the results from the test but it made no sense to me. We asked his assistant if she said she would have him call as soon as he finished with a patient...waited all day now it 5:45 and no call.I was a police officer and detective for over 20 years, I never lost empathy for victims and always kept them involved. It seems Wells is another one of those doctors who have a god complex...to good to call a patient back but not to good to take their money...It seems Terry K. had a similar issues with this guy.... if he's lost his compassion for his patients why not go into another line of work or retire....Dr. Transfiguracion is great, always follows up and is concerned with her patients well being PLEASE make certain that you see her and this guy is not substituted when you arrive...

I saw Dr. Wells a few months ago and received a prescription to get filled. Walmart called Dr. Wells for clarification on the prescription before it could get filled. No response from Dr. Wells. I called Walmart for an update and was told the Dr. won't respond. I called the office to talk to Dr. Wells. No Luck? I asked the office to get this prescription clarified and filled. They said OK, but did nothing. I called again a month later and asked to talk to Dr. Wells. He was not available. I asked the secretary to have him call me to get this prescription worked out. She said he would call me the next day. He never did.In Summary, It's frustrating to pay a Dr. good fees and get absolutely Zero help. It was a waste of time going down there, filling out a ton of data, and not even being able to get a prescription filled. I will go to another Dr. who cares!!!!
