Juan Uribe's Online Review Report Card

I went in with so much sciatic pain that I could not take a step and I left after surgery pain free. It wasn’t a miracle, it was Dr Uribe. Thank you, thank you, Dr Uribe !!

I met doctor Uribe because of pain in my legs, I was referred to him, and I was very fortunate I was able to see him. After surgery I have no pain now, my recovery was pretty quick, very limited, needed little pain meds and muscle relaxers, used a walker for 2 weeks. And the pain got away, I’m glad I was able to work this out with dr Uribe and his crew.

My wife was recommended to Barrow and Dr. Uribe as the best of the best. We have tried for over a year to get an appointment. But we saw him yesterday and he was very gracious, but truthful. Because of all the surgeries she has had he recommends no further surgeries for now. He makes his living doing surgeries, so I respect him for doing what is right instead of padding his pocketbook.

Dr Uribe who did my thoracic surgery and lack of care post surgery not helping me with pain, incontinency or falling issues. Sent me a letter by certified mail and followed up with a letter. In the letter it stated I will not be seen any further by barrows or any department gave me no reason to why i cannot be seen anymore by them after there neglect, harassment and lack of care stating I will not be seen any further by barrows or any barrows department which i see a Neurologist for my cluster headaches. He lack of care especially after falling issues due to another emergency surgery done 1 moth prior on the neck. Only looking to save his name and not follow the oath he took to become a doctor. He did a great job on the surgery as i was expected to be paralyzed after the surgery, but never talked to me once till i made the complaint about his lack of care and trying to pass me off on my primary doctor who know nothing about how bad mid spinal was damaged or in how to treat after receiving medical records from them. This whole thing has cause me to be disabled and have to be watch by someone and use a cane or walker. I also asked for psychical therapy and said walking was my PT and had to seek a referral to PT else where. I believe this was done so he can save his name as lead chief of surgery. I recommend to go to Mayo clinic instead of barrows as they don't care of treat you after surgery. the only advice they gave me was to sue my employer for terminating me. No medical advice was given for the other issues. My qualify of life has changed for the worst due to his lack of care or treatment after surgery.

Since last September, I had a pain going from my hip down to the leg, it progressed so much I couldn’t stand. Couldn’t hike and this changed my life. After the surgery immediately the pain down my leg was gone. The recovery time within a week I started moving and balance, trying to rest and don’t pushing my self hard. I’m feeling very relief after surgery. It changed my life!! Dr Uribe gave me a whole new life back.

Since my first meeting with Dr Uribe I had a great feeling about him. He was honest, he gave true expectations, he said you are going to hate him for 6 months and I only hated him for a couple of weeks. He’s stuff is fabulous. There is no question I had the best experience after a surgery. The staff is excellent. I truly believe the rehab is the best of the best. The care and attention made everything perfect! Thank you so much! I had no pain any more, after 3 months pain free!! No problems of incisions.

My Husband had surgery this is his experience: everything went fine, I’m still in the process of healing. The staff is very competent, fast and great way of communication with them. I really didn’t have any pain after surgery only soreness. I used the collar, I felt the muscles but when I rested I relaxed. I’m very independent, specially after surgery I’m still very independent. Thank you!

It was scary experience to start out. I saw two more specialists before coming to Dr Uribe. Everything clicked out with him, our religion. We meet with him I knew I wanted to do the surgery with Dr Uribe. I'm very happy with how he guided me. After surgery I had no pain, I had 5 car accidents before, no symptoms at all! Thank you!
