Walked into the Emergency Room at VAMC-Phoenix very scared. Left 4 hours later happy as could be and very relieved. I discovered a growth in center of my chest, sternum, which grew over time. After 3 months, fearing the worst, I went to the VAMC-Phx ER. Dr. Story saw me. She immediately discovered low potassium levels, scheduled a CT and within 3 hours, told me its a Lipima, a tough fatty mass, no danger, no cancer, no heart issues. During this time, I watched as she managed 8 other patients in the ER, directing staff, updating online medical records and being kind/caring to young and very old combat veterans, men, women, all races, etc. At the end, she printed out all my base line blood levels and readings plus what was normal, high and low. I saved it. When I got home I looked her up re creditials. AWESOME academic and medical achievements. Seriously, she is the best doctor I ever encountered - THE BEST !!!
