List of Julio Rodriguez Lopez's Reviews
My sister has a severe vein issue in her leg that has been ongoing for six months. Her legs have recently been bleeding severely. She has been blocked in her attempts to contact Dr Rodriguez. She was advised by a Doctors service advisor that an ultrasound would be required to “get to the root of the problem” even though the issue has been ongoing for six months with previous treatment. Main issue is the advisement that Sh cannot get an ultrasound until April. She asked if it were possible to go to another imaging center and was told no. The office would only utilize their ultrasounds. So it appear my sister gets to wait until April to get an ultrasound to try and resolve. What is a pretty serious bleeding situation with the van issues in her legs. I advised her to find another vein specialist.
Dr. Rodriguez is an amazing surgeon who saved my life. I have had 2 anuerysms on my aorta which were successfully stented by Dr. Rodriguez. The first anuerysm was very large and found by accident through a normal xray. I was taken to the hospital, after a CT scan, by ambulance. Dr. Rodriguez was called and saw me soon after my arrival. He placed the stent the next morning using the time before surgery to study my condition. My second stent was placed several years later because it was not as big and when stented there was a small concern about me losing the use of my legs. After the second anuerysm became larger in size, it was decided that it needed to be stented. The surgery was successful and I was up walking around that evening. My legs work perfectly normal. I was in ICU both times. I was up walking around less than 24 hours after surgery and discharged after 2 days in ICU. Dr. Rodriguez is truly a gifted and talented surgeon.
My husband has been seeing Dr. Rodriguez and Joey at Western Vascular for a year now and we normally don't like doctors from having such horrible experiences in the past but everytime we go see them we are amazed at how caring, patient, knowledgeable and overall amazing they are. If you need to see a vascular dr. go to Westeren Vascular Institue of Phx. The whole office is great but especially Dr. Rodriguez and Joey. I can't praise them enough!
Dr.Rodri
Dr Julio Rodriguez-Lopez is outstanding. He took the time and effort to explain my my condition of aneurysm perfectly and understandably. He has countenance and is personable. He stepped up and followed up and I am both fortunate and grateful that he saved my life.
Dr Julio Rodriguez Lopez saved my life! There is no greater gift than that!!!
Dr. Rodriguez and his direct staff are amazing. I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and had to have my first rib removed. That type of surgery could go bad in sooooo many ways. I have full use of my arm back and my life has been changed. Thank you so much doc.
DR Rodriguez-Lopez saved my life 11/1/2013 when my aorta ruptured and I was helicoptered to Phoenix from Prescott. Operation took less than 2 hours and caused me no pain. When Cook Medical patented a new type of stent for aortas that are larger than average, I had a second surgery 6/1 2016 to place the stent plus 7 others (renal, iliac). I was released to go home 24 hours after the surgery that took 5 hours. No after effects on either surgery.
Careful, about dr Rodriguez, he's a butcher.and his stitches are. Worse, i have the scars on my legs to prove it.
My review is valid. I was, unfortunately, a patient of his. I'm now in a wheelchair, after walking in. Never got dime. A month in ICU.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
