Dr. Karan Moon performed the surgery for subdural hematoma for me at Banner Desert hospital in Mesa, Az. I have had a fast recovery and he explained the full procedure to help me understand what needed to be done. His entire staff is professional and friendly.

Dr. Moon and his staff are outstanding! The facility Banner University Medical Center was right up there with the rest of the staff. I cannot give these people enough credit for making my life much improved.

He explained my images to me in a manner that I understood and was very empathetic.

I am an office manager for a primary care facility - We have been referring to this office for years, and I thought had a good relationship with them. I have a patient that has been trying to get in somewhere for 2 years, and has all of the imaging completed. I called as the office to try and help her get in quicker. The unprofessionalism of the Manager that I spoke to that wouldn't even take 2 seconds to listen was absolutely disgusting. If you can get past the controlling staff that don't care about anything but having a referral in their hand so that the "Dr. Can review" before they "DECIDE" if they will see your patient, you might have a great experience here. For now, they have lost all of our referrals. Its saddening that patient care is obsolete. Dr. Moon is great - his staff leaves much to be desired.

Dr. Moon is Ultimately the Best Surgeon in Arizona !!! Dr. Moon performed my first surgery in October of 2022 & the moment I woke up after surgery my pain that I was experiencing was gone & I only had pain from the actual surgery, now 6 months later, I finished my pt I’m feeling so much better & I’m starting to workout again like before, my accident!!!! Now, waiting to see if I will need an additional surgery in my upper back & if so, I know Dr. Moon will do his best!!! He does have a great gift, he is very talented & he does have a great reputation, he was highly recommended with an outstanding record. I’m thankful that Dr. Moon is my surgeon.

Dr. Moon is the best! Two other neurosurgeons told me I would probably end up a quadriplegic with or without surgery. Dr. Moon was so confident in his ability to help me that he put me at ease. I knew I would be in the hands of a skilled surgeon. As a RN of 32 years I know all the things that can go wrong while working that closely to the spinal cord. I was in a wheelchair prior to surgery and in excruciating pain. Now I am free of pain and most importantly I am free of that wheelchair! I can walk without a cane or walker. I call Dr. Moon my miracle doctor because I believe he performed a miracle on me. Every time I get up and walk somewhere I think of him and silently say a prayer to thank God for sending me to such a skilled neurosurgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs a neurosurgeon. He is also very kind and has a great bedside manner. I have met many neurosurgeons that are so arrogant and have the “God Complex”. Dr. Moon is so caring and sweet. He is the BEST!

Was so scared about this surgery, read all the horror stories online regarding procedure not working , infections , long and painful recovery. None of that happened in my case. The surgery went as planned the results were fantastic. I am pain free. I thought it would be a painful recovery. That was not the case. I can’t be more greatful to Dr. Moon and his team for this new lease on life that I have. I can finally walk pain free and continue living my life and doing things I wasn’t able to do due to pain and numbness in my legs.
