I had been to several hip docs trying to figure out what was causing an intense, non-stop pain in my right hip. He was finally the one to figure out what my issue was. We had surgery to fix my torn labrum and I immediately felt better. I appreciate his work so much that now that I have another issue I am seeking him out again because I know I can trust his knowledge and his work. I know I’m in great hands with Dr. Ecco.

Dr. Kostas is the best! He listens to what I have to say and is very easy to talk to. He pays attention to all of the symptoms I mention in each appointment and is always sure to follow up on them. I have had some procedures done by by him and they were great, but now I have some knee issues, that he anticipated, well now I am 64 years old and he transferred to a new company, which I was able to go to, he will not treat patients over 60 years of age. Very disappointing , as we all get old and have to endure sub service. Hope you can heal the young.

After years of living with hip pain I underwent hip arthroscopic surgery and labral tendon repair. I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Economopoulos and his staff at the Mayo did a great job. Immediately after the surgery and beyond I felt relieved of the constant ache in my hip. My PT and I have followed Dr. E's physical therapy instructions and it's been going extremely well. Follow up visits with Dr. E and his P.A. were very professional, informational and friendly. Glad I choose Dr. E for the procedure.

Excellent doctor who helped repair a torn hip labrum. Did an amazing job, I’m back doing all the activities I love to do without pain.

Botched knee reconstruction surgery. Drilled the holes too large to attach the ligaments and using an "Arthroscopic robotic-assisted device for type repair is not protocol for this complex knee surgery" (ACL, MCL, PCL injury). This was confirmed by two other orthopedic surgeons. Encountered an infection and was in the hospital for ten days before Dr. Economopoulous came in to clean out the wound. Will require additional surgeries to correct his mistakes.

Dr E performed rotator cuff and bicep surgery with great results. Recovering from the surgery I felt no pain and did not use any pain medicine.

Incredible doctor who greatly helped me. He was my advocate and also listened to every word I said. I wouldn't have wanted my surgery from anyone else. Very compassionate and worked hard to get me back where I was. Best doctor/surgeon I've ever had.
