Could not be happier with the outcome of my knees. I had a total knee replacement on both knees, 7 years apart, and am very happy with my results. I am a very active person and was really worried to have surgery. Dr Spangehl took a lot of time explaining what to expect and at no time ever made me feel like I was wasting his time. Not only did he do my knees, but he also did my fathers and sister, all with great results. If you need a good surgeon that will really care, I would recommend Dr. Mark Spangehl!

Dr. Mark Spangehl replaced my hip about 21 years ago, he did both of my grandmother's knees, and fixed my fathers hip. All of which have been successful surgeries! He is professional and kind, and he truly cares about his patients. He is a good listener, he takes his time explaining everything that he will be doing and has an excellent caring staff. Our family can't thank him enough! He has systematically put us back together again! ❤️

Hip replacement in November 2017. I walked two miles unassisted on the 3rd day after Surgery! Was walking with a cane before the Surgery. Thank you! Dr. Mark and Mayo Clinic were the best!!

Dr. Spangehl did a fantastic job with my hip replacement. I was pain free and walked right away. It has been a year now and it was the best blessing I could have. No regrets! He was the best!

Dr. Spangehl and his team are the best of the best! His PA’s were excellent at answering my pre-op and post-op questions and very attentive. He was excellent and genuinely caring both times I saw him in office. Couldn’t have been gentler and kinder day of knee replacement. I am 5 weeks post op today. Therapy at Mayo for 3 weeks and I am walking a mile/day and riding stationary bike 2-4 miles/day. He knows his stuff, has a great team, and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Mark Spangehl is an excellent surgeon and Nick Probst is exceptional for pre-op and follow-up care. Entire procedure was flawless, all my questions were answered, and Mayo clinic in Phoenix is world class. After a week, my hip replacement is healing, never needed narcotics, and only taking an Aleve twice a day. I have zero hip pain, walking with cane just in case but have complete mobility. Dr. Spangehl provides personal care and expert hip replacement with little pain and minimal recovery time.

Had both knees replaced in 2016 (May and August). Couldn't begin to explain how great Dr. Spangehl is, the work he did and how responsive he and his team was! Couldn't have been a better outcome! Today I'm riding bike 25 miles a day, something I never thought I would do back in 2015 before my surgery.
