I was in excruciating pain from a ruptured disk at L 4-5, Dr. Lyons was thorough in his explanation about the procedure, and performed my surgery perfectly. He literally gave me my sanity and life back. It's really amazing being strechered into the hospital-couldn't walk, have surgery, walk-out hours after the surgery and pain free!

Doctor Mark K. Lyons MD took the time to review my history and films before seeing me. He is very knowledgeable in his field. I appreciate that he is conservative, compassionate, listens to the patient, answers all questions, he has great bedside manner and will do what’s necessary to restore a patient quality of life.

Dr. Lyons was the most patient helpful Dr. a person could get! Surgery was performed and I pretty much just walked away!! Highly advise him. I travelled from NM to Phoenix to receive treatment.

As the patient, I expected Dr's comments to be directed to me - not my husband. It was a waste of time. Failed to review my MRI, discounted the diagnosis and recommendations of two Orthopaedic surgeons and overall was very dismissive. Thought a neurosurgeon would be able to provide a better overall summary of the many problems with my spine and explain how they all relate. The summary....you won't fall apart. Well that's encouraging!
