Dr. Hoerth is outstanding. I first saw him in 2011 for a second opinion (I was diagnosed with simple partial seizures). After several years of being seizure free, the seizures began again in 2019 so I went back to him. Dr. Hoerth is smart, thorough, personable, competent and caring. I trust him completely.

Dr. Hoerth is an outstanding neurologist. I was his patient in 2011, when first diagnosed with epilepsy and in 2019, when, after several years of being seizure free, my seizures started again. He is competent and caring and completely patient focused. The BEST!

He is amazing! Took the time to really understand my needs and concerns. Explains everything in detail to my husband and I. After 23 years of seizures he was a light at the end of my tunnel. I could do a commercial for Mayo. They have been truly amazing. A team approach so as Dr Hoerth said, "we talk about you behind your back" HaHa. The procedures I've had have been explained carefully and compassionately. My sister in law is now going to Mayo for her complicated case. I would recommend all of them

I went to him in 2013 and he was great. Because we had no insurance and self pay, he did an full evaluation and had several test for me to do and had me see a couple Doctors there. He was more than willing to do the procedures and treatments I needed done after he did his observation, tests and follow ups with the Doctors he sent me to, but he said if I have them done back in Oklahoma where my Native Tribal Insurance would cover them and be less expensive for us. We appreciated it than and came home. Then my doctors here didn't want to do what he requested. We finally got our own insurance and took my records from him to the new doctors here and they jump right on top of it. (My Tribe is horrible) unfortunately even after the procedures he requested were done, I got worse. My condition has no cure also my original doctors made medical errors that caused me to have other problems. This year I went back to him after 3 years because I have gotten worse and I am going down hill. When we walked into his office he remembered me and my husband along with my condition. To me that was amazing. I am so use to seeing doctors and they treat me as a chart number rather than a human being. I have even seen the same doctors 2 or 3 times but they dont remember me. But Dr. Hoerth did and now that we have insurance we told him we will be doing everything thru him and he was completely happy and felt very positive that he was able to help me. I know I will never be 100% but I have total confidence in him to get me where I can have a life rather than stuck in bed missing out in life. He is wonderful, he truly cares and treats you as a person who he is going to be there for you, not as someone who is there to just be there and give you some crazy diagnosis, he will give you a diagnosis and explain to you in a way you understand and feel very comfortable. I have been blessed by God by bring him into my life.

Dr. Hoerth is absolutely fantastic! I have been searching for a great Dr due to my ailments that are quite complex. He sat with me for 2 hours, listened, and answered all questions. Provided me with a game plan on how to go bout diagnosing me and the proper treatment. If you are looking for a fantastic Neurologist, he's definitely it! I couldn't recommend him more! Staff couldn't be more polite. They all made a very scary experience for me, put at rest, and I felt completely at ease after my visit. Jaclyn V

He's indescribable. There aren't enough words to say what I think of him. He is a real credit to Mayo Clinic. People are nuts to write negative comments about him. You should research him. You would be changing your mind.
