I currently see Dr.Boulware and he is the ONLY psychiatrist that actually listens and treats you like a person instead of just another case. Hes actually WORKED WITH ME to find a combination of drugs for my GAD Panic Discorder and Cyclothymic disorder A minor type of bi polar disorder that actually work and keeps working with me and talks to me about whats going on on my life and affecting my life. He is by far one of the best psychiatrists Ive seen that understands dual diagnosis patients and can work with them and prescribe medications accordingingly while being monitored and doing therapy.
Dr. Boulware is great So often doctorspsychiatrists dont spend much time with you and arent always so caring but Dr. B is so nice and friendly and caring
While a patient at St Lukes for 17 days he sat with me everyday for 15 to 45 minutes answering my questions about the chemical processes and imbalances in the brain. He was very patient and ordered all of the tests I requested these are not typical tests that insurance companies reimburse. He helped me to find the right medicinal protocol to effectively treat and manage my bipolar diagnosis at 50 years old. He helped me find a way to live.
I met Dr Boulware when he was a resident Dr at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore from 20072009. He accomplished what no other Dr could which is anxiety along with headaches. I would highly recommend him. He is friendly to work with and has super communication skills.
Met with him for about 5 minutes for the first time. Prescribed Abilify. Never told me any of the side effects and I now have Tardive Dyskinesia....for life from that drug. Horrible.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
