Still requiring their patients and staff to wear 😷 Taking my business elsewhere.
Front office staff experience was terrible. They turned away my child who is 4 because no physical insurance and no referral. My doctor said they sent referral & also agreed that was a weird situation to be turned away for. I had his insurance information but no card. Their demeanor to not want to help was just rude. The front office does not know how to help people. I had this appointment scheduled for weeks they should have notified of such "requirements". And this is a situation involving a child. So I'm completely disgusted because what if he needed the appointment & it was medically needed. No one should go here.
I was recommended to this dermatology office and the earliest they can see me was after the first the first of the year. I have severe eczema on my face and they said there is nothing they can do to help get me on sooner even for a severe case.
I saw Dr. Paul English about a year ago looking for help regarding possible hidradenitis suppurativa. He barely gave me a look over, told me I didn't have it and that the acne I had was "just the body I was born with." Then gave me a useless prescription and sent me on my way. It wasn't until I was able to see a dermatologist at the Mayo Clinic a year later to confirm an HS diagnosis. Unfortunately I have since developed scaring around the affected area due to minimal treatment options. Had Dr. English done his job I may have been able to prevent irreversible damage to my skin. I am truly worried for the patients who visit this clinic, especially elderly patients who might not understand how their doctor is treating them. FIND ANOTHER DERMATOLOGIST WHO ISN'T A GLORIFIED BEAUTICIAN.
Very rude woman at check in. Does not treat disabled elderly with any help or empathy at all. I’m on oxygen and completely disabled. It takes me forever to get out of car, get my walker out of my old car, and then get into the building. I can hardly walk even with the walker. I couldn’t even get the door to the building open, it is so heavy, and impossible to maneuver my walker around. That’s not taking into account how difficult it is or how long it takes me to get dressed and out into the car. Some days are worse than others with my rheumatoid arthritis. In any case, after all that exertion and effort, I am turned away because I’m a few minutes late. I’ve never felt so defeated and hopelessly discouraged in my life. I really didn’t expect that type of treatment from a doctors office. I just sat in my car and cried.
Cool fish tank DR.
SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT GO THIS BUSINESS....... I was there this afternoon to address the abnormal skin patch on my stomach that I've been dealing with over the last 18 months and have had 2 office visits prior with the PA and received medications that have not helped. Todays visit was different because I was told to remove all clothing and there was a scalpel and supplies already on the table upon my arrival which I addressed with the assistant because I've never seen them before and thought they were left over from prior patient. However, assistant said no it's for the doctor. I was seen by Dr. Scott Ross rather than the PA and he barley looked at my main stomach area, with quick glance said there was nothing more they could offer. However, after a quick body inspection he decided to biopsy a mole on my left calf. He didn't give me any options and felt pressured and didn't know how to respond. Dr.Scott had never seen this mole or my skin before,he never gave me an option to watch characteristics and from my perspective there was nothing different from this mole to another. They had taken pictures of my stomach area previous but he didn't take a picture of the mole to watch for next 6 months or explain anything. He didn't even take a picture prior to the biopsy. This was my 3rd visit at the office and never did they do a full body examine. I was told nothing about how this would be billed,no education for after care. I've paid my other visits out of pocket and don't even know the price that I will incur for this procedure and pathology and would understand if necessary but feel taken advantage of since English isn't my first language and health care naive. I feel that if this was such an urgent issue it would've been addressed prior than 18 months later. Beware of Dr.Scott and office staff, they will punch biopsy holes all over you to make an extra buck. I did call the the office after my visit and told them not to send my sample to pathology, but still awaiting to confirm that they disposed of my sample. I will not be returning. Can't trust even healthcare providers these days, just trying to make extra on the less fortunate. SCAMMERS. I feel like my health care rights were violated and that I went to a butcher, not a dermatologist. Beware!!
This review isn't on Doctor English. With that being said; Scheduled an appointment 2 months prior for 8:15a. At 8am I get a call there was an emergency and a doctor won't be in to see me. I was able to get in at 12:30 though. Front desk was utterly rude. I filled out paperwork two months prior to the appointment and was told they didn't get all of it. I said "are you sure?" Which she replied "yeah I'm sure." with a snobby attitude. I showed her my sent messages, turns out it was just not printed on their end. The doctor was so quick. I'm going to get checked again somewhere else. I had a dark spot underneath my toenail and she didn't say anything. I also asked her about my adult acne. She said "oh it's hormones, you're a mom and some birth controls do that!" Something I'm clearly self conscious about was just dismissed! She took a mole off that day, and 13 days later, I still haven't heard what the results are. It was just a rushed experience which is disappointing since isn't melanoma is the leading cause of cancer?
Dr. English was referred to my husband for a skin condition. I called all last week and they kept saying their computers were down and to call back later which I did all week. I called Monday and was told we needed a referral, so I called our Drs. office for her to send it which she did. I then called Dr. English's office to make an appointment and was told again their computers were down and Dr. could not see anyone until December and I would have to call back. We have now scheduled with another Dermatology office whose office staff was polite and whose Dr. could see my husband. I have never dealt with a medical office like there's and would not recommend them to anyone. C.H.
Definitely not worth to go there. I waited so long. Dr. English did not listen my concerns and he was in hurry.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
