I had no idea how lacking my care was under my prior doctor until I started seeing Dr. Lui. He actually returned my call! And he is very kind and wonderful at listening. But more than that he is able to translate my symptoms into possible causes to be tested for! He doesn't ignore what I'm saying! He believes me and acts on issues! I feel safe with him. :)

Doctor Lui is one of the finest physicians I have ever met. He made me feel like I was his only patient for the day. He is intelligent, well spoken, very personable, and listens to everything you have to say. I cannot imagine finding a better doctor for my CKD. If you're trying to find a kidney specialist, I really think you just found him. 5 stars for this man, because they won't let me choose 6. I am only stage 3A, but Doctor Lui is mapping out my plan as if I were stage 4. Top notch!

He's great in being honest & upfront. No sugarcoating! I can trust his judgement in my treatment of ckd! In turn, this motivate me to eat well & really work at doing the right things to control & get better at my ckd. Office staff is great & helpful too!
