Dr. Zimmerman recently, on two occasions, performed cataract surgery on me. Both were done in the most professional manner I would recommend the staff at Affiliated Eye Surgeons to care for any eye conditions that require medical treatment.After performing intraocular lens surgery on me, my vision has been restored to the level that I had 50 years ago. I cannot be more complimentary or more effusive in my praise.

Dr. Zimmerman is awesome...compassionate, informative, knowledgeable, skillful, understanding, etc.. I have COMPLETE confidence entrusting my vision with him. Thank you, Dr. Zimmerman, for eradicating the “candle glow” in both eyes, resulting in amazing eyesight (a bluer sky and whiter clouds)! I truly CAN “see clearly now”.

The office was clean, not fancy or fussy. Restrooms down the hall outside of office. magazines to peruse. Doctors assistant diluted my eyes. He was kind and explained what he was doing. Then I had a test to read letters with each eye separately. Missed a couple or 3.First time here and so far so good. Dr Z came in with a hearty hand shake and warm welcome. After the exam he declared I Did Not Cataract surgery, whew, what a relief. He stated, out of ten I'm a 3, Awesome, see you next year.

I personally have had nothing but excellent care from Dr. Zimmerman and his staff. I would and have recommended Affiliated Eye Surgeons to whomever I know in need of an Ophthalmology.

if you need cataract surgery this is the guy to go to. restored vision to 20/20 after surgery. he is by far the expert in the field, educated, practical and super down to earth.

Dr. Zimmerman did glaucoma surgery on both of my eyes and cataracts surgery on my right eye and schedule to have my left eye in 4 days. He always makes sure I understand the risks of each procedure. I also like the good treat I get from both of his assistants and office staff. I'm 38 years old and I'm glad my eyes are in good hands.He is very professional :)

Dr Zimmerman is probably competent overall. He did a successful cataract implant on me some years ago. On the other hand, he is very patronizing and condescending, never smiles (& neither does his assistant, for that matter). I don't feel comfortable discussing my options with him.

Dr. Zimmerman literally saved my husband's eyesight. When it was evident that his glaucoma was worsening, he had him in surgery within two days. A wonderful, knowledgeable and caring doctor.
