Robert Taylor Do's Online Review Report Card

If anyone is looking for a smart, kind, and compasionate physician, then call Dr. Taylor's office for an appointment. I am a RN who has over 35+ years in the healthcare industry. I was referred to Dr. Taylor about 4 years ago by a trusted doctor friend and it was one of the best recommendations I have ever had. From the time I walked into Dr. Taylor's office I felt comfortable and was greeted cheerfully. When Dr. Taylor came into the room, he was very professional, friendly and encouraged me to talk about my symptoms. When my appointment was over, my concerns were addressed and everything I needed to do listed out for me. I have seen Dr. Taylor at least once a year since then and if anything, my visits have improved as I now know the doctor and his staff well. My health has improved tremendously with his care and suggestions. Recently, I saw him and was sent to the Emergency Room from his office. While in the hospital, he called the ER Doctor to go over my case with her and then called my specialist physician to let him know I had been admitted. In addition, he called the treating hospital doctor to ensure I was getting what I needed. Dr. Taylor went above and beyond my expectations and I heartedly recommend him to anyone seeking a solid, smart and compassionate family doctor!

Dr Taylor is one of the most genuinely caring providers I've met. Previously, logistics with scheduling and office communication were... glitchy to say the least, but there is new staff and new management and those unnecessary frustrations have been resolved. There's not much more I could value in a Dr then to be listened to, genuinely cared for, and looked at as a wholeperson rather than a symptom. I can't recommend Dr Taylor enough!

Disappointing. I was referred to this doctor by a well regarded gastroenterologist as I continue to search for a primary care doctor. My requirements are pretty simple. Mutual respect for each others time and views, be competent, professional, and ethical. I scheduled an appointment with this office only to be called back the next day and tell me that they were not taking appoitments for that day after all. OK, I get it, schedules change. I rescheduled and was told to arrive 15 min early for paperwork and that the paperwork was available online if I wanted to do it ahead of time. First, not all the forms are actually on line so what's the point and second, I did the paperwork ahead of time AND arrived early anyway.10 min past appointment time - 15 min past appointment time - 20 min past appointment time and not a word. at 25 min past appointment time they mention that they are running late. At 35 min past appointment time I walk up and retrieve all my paperwork and leave. This office, in my experience has no respect for the patient - no less a new patient and one that was referred to them from a colleague. I can only imagine what type of doctor/patient relationship this would be if they can't even respect your time. However, based on the other reviews of Marshall Family Care, I don't' have to imagine - this seems like the way they conduct their practice.I provided the appropriate feedback to the referring physician. Go in with low expectations if you go at all.
