I accompanied a resident to a colonoscopy today and never have I witnessed a more, rude, obnoxious and unprofessional doctor. How does she have a practice of over 30 years? She should be fired.

I saw her years ago when she used to practice at Banner Estrella. She is a little abrasive, but she's very knowledgeable and thorough. I think it's a cultural thing-- she's not "rude" necessarily, but more abrupt and a little rough around the edges. Some of the best doctors I've seen lack people skills, and she's on that list. People that complain because 'she didn't make eye contact' apparently haven't experienced many different types of personalities. Because someone didn't behave exactly how you expected them to doesn't mean they are lacking in compassion or poor at their job. Give me a break. TLDR; Good doctor. Not for adult babies or Karens.

Very unfriendly, No eye contact while I was talking to her I finally had to confront her that I would appreciate if she pay attention to my conversation while I was telling her why I was there ... Very Rude and unprofessional. I will never recommend her to anyone.

This doctor has very poor billing practices and didn’t bill my insurance correctly I called and was treated very rudely. Now I have been turned in to a collection agency because they billed it incorrectly my husband and I will never return to this practice in the future. If I could leave no stars I would

Dr. Mumtaz noticed non-GI symptoms and dug deeper until the right referrals and diagnoses were found. She is tenacious and thinks deeply about patients' welfare. Yes, if you slack off and endanger yourself she will scold you. She cares a LOT.

Dr. Mumtaz is a excellent doctor that really goes out of her way for her patient. It's hard to find a good doctor like Dr. Montes she has restore health to my body. I'm grateful to have her as my doctor.
