Saved my life! A Prince.

I first visited Dr. Swanson because I had a freak accident leaving me with a blood clot in my leg. Upon further inspection, they found a cancerous spot on my bladder. My vascular surgeon recommended me to Dr. Swanson. He has been nothing but fantastic! Professional, extremely knowledgeable and an exemplary surgeon. 3 years later, I am still cancer free thanks to Dr. Swanson and his excellent team!

Dr Swanson is the best. He is professional and I do not have any doubts about his experience at all. I am lucky to have found Dr.Swanson who also maintains an office at the world class Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale AZ.

Scott Swanson is a butcher. He took my normal prostate gland and made it bad by hitting it 16 times without my permission. Then tired to get me to do a surgery. Swanson lies. Phoenix "Mayo Clinic" is a fraud. Its a franchise, like buying a McDonalds. Unqualified staff walking around with Mayo Clinic name tags. I was a Chicago lawyer with doctor clients for 30 years. I got took.

Do not trust Swanson. Explained little. Pushes expensive dangerous tests. Refuses to do no new, non-evasive, simple, inexpensive, blood cancer tests. He told me "you have enlarged prostate". I said "I'm over 65, we all have enlarged prostates." He convinced me to have a prostate biopsy, gets me on the surgery table, and tells me he's going to take 16 samples. I went into shock and said "medical books say take 8 to 12 samples." He butchered my colon and prostate anyway when he should have stopped.

Do not trust Swanson. Does not explain prostate issues. Will scare you with "you have enlarged prostate". But not tell you all guys over 65 have enlarged prostates. He refuses to do simple, non-evasive, new cancer blood tests. He will talk you into taking prostate samples. He will get you on the operating table, then tell you what he will do to you. He told me he was going to take 16 samples when I was on the table, and I said "books say 8 to 12 samples." Then he cut me anyway.

Dr. Swanson is a very experienced, kind and caring doctor. He is highly regarded in our family. We travel to Mayo for me to see Dr. Swanson. He has gone above and beyond to make sure that we understood everything associated with my procedures and problems. Thank you Dr Swanson. Barbara Perry

My son's life was almost taken away by a accident on a aircraft carrier. Years later Doctor Swanson gave him a new life and a great future.Swanson is brilliant ! He did for my son what the Government wouldn't.We will be forever great-full

the short list of sins:1) ordered inappropriate tests2) performed a cystoscopy as if he had a bus to catch3) implied that the pain he caused during the cystoscopy was somehow my fault4) was willing to perform unnecessary surgery which, fortunately, i knew enough to decline.my impression is of someone far more interested in generating fees than practicing sound medicine. his bedside manner is patronizing and dismissive. his technical skill, based on my admittedly limited experience, may also be deficient. good urologists are not easy to find. but be persistent; you can do better than this.

Just an incredible doctor, knowledgeable, great communicator and obviously caring. If you are unlucky enough to need to see him, you are lucky to have found him. Scott for president!!!!
